Wow!  Since 1985!  I've only been riding for 5 years, but was a runner before that.  Riding is a lot more rewarding.

I've been thinking about getting my own bike as I am a very motivated rider, so I know I would stay with it. On days there are no instructors, I take my notebook with downloaded classes and ride with those.

Just curious, what brand of bike do you have?

I've seen Pelaton (?) advertised, but others have said they are not the quality of the spin bikes at the gym.

Pro Form and it cost a fortune back when I bought and replacement parts are costly too.  This is not a spin bike I just do as fast as my body can go on a reg. bike.  54 years old so not as fast as I was back in my 20's.  But I love to bike, I tried jogging but I never enjoyed it and I wanted to so bad.  It looks to be such a free type of feeling to be running through the outside world.  Sorry if you thought I was a spinner just a really old biker.Woman Wink
