A couple of points I have issue with...
The study was done among people who already had other health conditions; diabetes, heart disease, etc. It may be that erythritol was found in individuals' blood, but what else was going on there? Were they obese, overeating carbs, eating multiple times a day, etc.? Who's to say they wouldn't have had a blood clot or heart attack anyway? NOWHERE does the study conclude that erythritol, which is a natural sweetener BTW, CAUSED any of the problems these people experienced. Furthermore, the test subjects were given 30 grams of erythritol in a single drink. NOBODY takes that much at one time.
He calls himself "A Doctor of Natural Medicine." What is that? I could not find anything on his site @JeanLouiseFinch .
It means he believes and practices finding natural alternatives through foods and lifestyle when possible rather than relying on prescription as a first resort.
Thank you @JeanLouiseFinch .
