I've seen so many posts on this board about people who have given up dairy. As one who drinks organic milk and eats Greek yogurt daily, I'm curious about this.

When I was in my early 20s, an older woman I used to work with proclaimed that "Dairy will make you fat!" and avoided it like the plague, although she was quite overweight. I always wondered about that comment.

Are there valid reasons for giving up dairy?
