@wagirl  The book "Wheat Belly" advocates ridding the diet of anything that spikes blood sugar.  The only sweetener it allows is stevia. (and it gives the name of one)

 

I can do without the sugar; the gluten-free products I use seem to work very well... wheat and gluten are one and the same essentially.  These are in practically everything.  

 

When I started having an upset (violent) stomach from vitamins I realized that I need to start eliminating things.
