@Laura14, since you know what to expect with your company, I’m sure you will handle it just fine.  What’s that saying?  Forewarned is forearmed.

What you’re dealing with depression with your stress which depletes your energy.  Sounds like you have a lovely apartment so keep looking at the big picture not this little interruption coming up.  It will pass.  I wish I knew why we allow others to steal our joy.

Re: Welcome to the September Exercise Thread

Good Saturday morning to you.   It's sunny and in the 40's this morning.  I was outside to check my bird feeders and it's cold!   Haha  I don't mind it, the summer has been too humid and too hot.

This morning I"ll do my TG and Bodyblade.   I signed up for TG TV, it's new and I can get new workouts on my laptop so that will be good to mix in some new things.  It's throught totalgymdirect website.   I really want this new Fit Signature that was on yesterday but even at the huge sale price I can't afford it.  I have to have the money in the bank to pay it all upfront or I won't sleep and I'd be sick about it.  Oh well, I have a machine that gets the job done.  Then yesterday I added in my Simply fit board workout challenge and I'm surprised I'm sore from that but never sore from my TG, I am bumping it up a level today though or trying anyways.

We have a wedding tonight, a neighbor kid or I should say man, but he's a kid to me as my own are men but I call them kids  LOL   maybe makes me feel younger  Hahah...

Laura I'm sorry you are stressing, you have had a lot on your plate but like Foxxie said Don't let anyone steal your joy!  I try each day to not offend anyone and to not let anyone offend me, and it's a choice I have to make but it isn't easy....

foxxie sorry your mouth is so sore, I'm so afraid of the dentist, even cleaning I'm afraid.  I should go but we have no dental insurance nor eye insurance so that is hard for us on one small income.

Nomless thinking of you, and hoping things are okay.

DrKelli what are you doing this weekend?  How's mom?

Judy is it cooler by you?  We were so hot and muggy and now it's much cooler but its still humid, my grass is still wet even in the afternoon.

I'm just sitting her with my coffee, feeling like  " not moving"  Hahaha....Have a good Saturday everyone!

Re: Welcome to the September Exercise Thread

Good morning everyone.

Pain is much, much better now that the antibiotic has started doing its job.  Thursday night the pain woke me up and I had to take my 800 mg ibuprofen and never went back to sleep so I only slept a couple of hours and last night I went to sleep around nine, awakened for the bathroom and didn’t wake up again until around six.  The pain was back but within a tolerable level, maybe a four.  At 6:30 I took my antibiotic and ibuprofen along with half a Dramamine (was feeling queasy) and within an hour I was feeling ok.  Ah, drugs, so glad they do what they do, lol.

@bopper, I could kick myself because I had insurance....even when I was a stay at home mom.  My husband at the time worked for Teamsters and had very good insurance, medical and dental.  But like you, I had a fear of the dentist.  I hardly ever went for maintenance, just for issues which turned out to require fillings.  Later in life, root canals.  Fast forward to now, I’m getting my teeth cleaned three times a year with insurance that doesn’t pay out as much.  Evidently it’s too late to keep ahead of the damage.  I even had the scaling (deep cleaning) earlier this year which was $136 out of my pocket for EACH side of my mouth, two visits.

Since you’re  younger than me @bopper, I’d suggest that if you can find a dental school or someplace where you can at least get your cleanings “cheap”, do so.  You pay now or you pay later when it comes to teeth.  It’s not even all about good dental hygiene.  Unless you carry a tooth brush and dental floss with you at all times, you need professional cleanings.  Actually, I have seen people in public places brushing and flossing in the bathroom and thought how stupid it was.  Now I’m thinking, “who was stupid?”

Too lethargic to do any working out.  I think it’s the antibiotic.  But it’s working so I won’t complain.  Does anyone notice that most of our problems are caused by us. Yep, they are.  I like it much better when I can blame someone else, lol.  Have a good day folks.

Happy Saturday peeps!

@Mmsfoxxie Ow.....ow....ow.  I agree about taking care of our teeth.  We have dental insurance through our dentist.....that helps.

@Laura14 Go to your happy place .....or just run away.

Re: Welcome to the September Exercise Thread

Good morning everyone.  Very quiet weekend for me, personally and weatherwise.

I'm going go to my exercise class this morning and hope for the best.  My energy level has s notation it's norm but something is better than nothing, right.  The swelling in my jaw is about 95% gone so at least I look normal.  Nerve pain only comes at about a 2 level when it's almost time to take another pill.

Senior Cardio and Strength & Motion (weight training) is on the menu.  Hope everyone is well and has a great day.

Re: Welcome to the September Exercise Thread

Hi everyone!  My mom went home Saturday, so things are back to "normal" at my house.

Well, it looks like I am going to have to get the toenail removed.  I can't even wear a shoe because the nail is lifting and when it gets pressure on it, the pain is terrible.  I put a pair of boat shoes on today and couldn't stand it, so had to switch to sandals. It's getting to be that time of year that it may snow and I can't wear sandals in the snow.

I don't know what exercise is going to look like this week, my trainer is in England until Wednesday and I am teaching Zumba on Thursday.  I guess it depends on when they can remove this nail.

I'm discombobulated this morning, so my thoughts are all over the place--forgive the briefness of the post and the lack of organization!

Hope you all have a great day!

Re: Welcome to the September Exercise Thread

Hey everyone, not much to say today, feeling sad.  We lost my BIL yesterday.  Very unexpected.

I did get a workout in though, I did 40 minutes on my Simply Fit Board and used my Bodyblade doing the video with Rosalie and Bruce...walked the dog also.  So I got lots in.  Now I am making phone calls, not a happy time.

Take care everyone.  Hope aches and pains go away for everybody...

Hi Everyone!

Did a 30 minute Leslie Sansone DVD this morning.

@bopper so very sorry to hear about your BIL.  Will be thinking of you and your family.

@Mmsfoxxie  good to hear that the swelling and pain are better.  Do understand about not having much motivaiton tho.  Hopefully in a day or two you'll feel even better.

@DrKelli ouch, about the nail!  I'd be so afraid to go to the doctor for that.

Hang in there everyone!
