@Iluvlucy I hope little Lucy gets better! ![]()
Signs it's a Full Moon
1. Your teacher brings in a student teacher and lets her teach two songs which she can't get through because the mike is not set up on her right and she doesn't really know the routine.
Do this in the afternoon not with the class of people trying to get through and get to work!
2. Your teacher insults you for the second week in a row by not knowing who Billy Ocean is. Really? Look him up on youtube already.
3. Your teacher (who is also the gym manager) announces that Bodyplex is opening soon. Why? Did you want to send your customers to the competition down the road with better parking, better space, and a brand new club?
She also mentions they do the exact same thing except their Power class doesn't change weights as much. That's a downside?
I envy those of you who don't work and can just pull the covers over your head until sanity and common sense come back. Either that or I'm the one who's nuts.
Happy Thursday!!

Morning, hard to believe we are approaching the weekend already, seems it was just Monday. It's in the mid 40's here right now. When I head out I"ll be wearing a jacket for sure.
I need to rake more pine needles today and throw some old bark into the burn pile, love being outside though on a beautiful fall day. My son and his family were here last night. My youngest GD, who is 1 1/2 now pats her leg and comes to me and says "come grandma". hahah she wants me to go in her room and play with her, so she pats her leg like she's calling the dog! She's a stitch, then if she sees her stroller, she can't wait to get in. I have a stroller in my garage and she spotted that right away. Still trying to see when we can go to CO to see my new grandson, he's 1 month old today! Time goes so fast! We wish they'd come here because my whole family wants to see him, I need to try and talk them into it. They are flying to Seattle for a wedding my son is in in November and taking the baby and her family to help babysit so it wouldn't be his first flight if they came here but I'll feel them out and see. I'd prefer that because I don't want to board Logan, it bothers me greatly to the point I'm almost sick. People who are not dog people though don't understand that. They have 2 dogs but when they have traveled they bring their dogs to her moms house and they have no worries. Anyway I digress!
Lucy glad you have an appt lined up for Lucy and an alternate plan if things get worse, that certainly could be why your tummy is a bit rolling today. Too much on your plate, I'll be glad when the house is done, the workers are gone and you can finally sit and just "breathe" in your own place. It will come
Congrats to DIL on her promotion ! Thanks you for the regards about Mr. Bopper, he's a champion!!
foxxie have fun in class today, wierd how you and this purse lady actually have contact again. Life is strange isn't it?
Nomless are you doing okay? MickD, trails or treadmill, is it warm there?
Judy, Lucy is right where have you been? Hope you're okay?
To the new posters at the beginning of the month, you can come back, we enjoy hearing about new workouts and just visiting here.
Have a blessed day everyone!

Lucy, I send lots of good wishes and prayers to little Lucy. Hugs for her. You're crazy busy with the house. Keep in mind in how great it will be in the end to help you through the hard parts. Hang in there.
Laura, you're having quite a time to your gym. Maybe the new one will offer a free trial period that will entice a lot of your gym's current members to jump ship.
Foxxie, nice to hear that you became friends after the purse incident.
Hi, DrKelli. You've had a busy week, too. Only one more day to Friday.
Hi to Mick, Judy and the lurkers out there, lol. Don't be shy. We'd love to have you join in.

@nomless It has been nothing but entertainment lately!
@bopper That is so sweet about your granddaughter. I only got it from my nieces and nephew when they were young. One of the things I miss not having kids. ![]()
@Mmsfoxxie Rock that zumba girl!
‎10-05-2017 06:33 PM
Bopper, I guess I missed your post this morning. Your GD calling you like a dog is so funny. I hope you can figure out a way to see new GS!

Good morning, group. I'm glad everyone is well except poor Lucy. @bopper, your GD is cute. She's modeling what she sees done, lol. I'm anxiously waiting for my GD to smile. (She was two months old yesterday). I was googling yesterday and it says they start between 2 and 3 months. I've seen a sort of smile in a picture of her sleeping but in videos I've seen she just looks around like she's bored, lol.
@Laura14, yes, it's nice to not have to go to work but like all things, there is the negative side like less money, health issues, making sure you keep a social life and most importantly, realizing your mortality. The days go by much faster when your older. I swear that we just had a Friday a couple of days ago and now, here it is again. There's more good than bad, though. It's all on what you decide to focus on.
Well, I thought I had an eye appointment today at 1:15 which is what it says on my appt card. When I didn't get my confirmation call yesterday, I called them. They have me down for Friday, October 13th at 1:00 pm. What? Lucky I called to confirm because I would have been a little upset to hear that after I got there today. The receptionist said that if it was important to do it today, they'd squeeze me in. Those are code words for sit there all day. No thank you, lol.
Senior cardio today and maybe a walk. By the way, I have done no WW tracking of my food this week. I hope I'm not getting bored with it. Tracking has never been a favorite thing for me anyway.
Enjoy your day peeps and be safe.

@Mmsfoxxie It must be part of the eye care industry. I had mine on Tuesday and pulled out my appointment card that they mailed me. In fine print, I finally noticed it said I had to call to confirm or the appointment was not guaranteed. Called day of and ended up having to go in 15 minutes early which is not a big deal but had to clock out from work earlier. Glad I noticed because I would have been mad too.
And I'm still waiting on my first pair of official you are old glasses now called progressives.
Can't wait til they come in. Not.

Good morning, all! This must be the month of doctor's appointments--I have 2 scheduled (one of which I had), next week is the eye doctor. I like her a lot--she has the same first name, only hers is spelled with an IE instead of an I. We bonded immediately over that and how awful it was because no one ever spells it right.
I had my mammogram this week, but before I even got home, there was a message that I had to come back in because the radiologist wants more views. You would have thought that the radiologist would have reviewed them before I left. There is one mammography center in Denver that will do that and if there is a concern, the doctor will actually speak to you before you leave that day.
Yesterday was really tough--I had to get up at 3:30, leave my house by 4 and drive 2 hours to one of our plants to be there by 6. I worked until 1:30 and then drove 2 hours home. 4 hours in a car is not fun and I didn't get any workout in because I was exhausted. I woke up this morning feeling like I was getting sick. I did a zycam nasal swab and feel better now though.
I have a 30 minute personal training session today, so will at least get that in. I also have a massage scheduled this afternoon and after spending all that time in the car yesterday, cannot WAIT.
SO glad it's Friday and I hope you all have very good weekends!

Happy Friday ya'all, it's a beautiful fall day, tomorrow not so much, calling for over an inch of rain so I better get out today. Left foot is a bit sore by the big toe joint, I think walking pavement bothers my feet and I"ve done lots of walking lately so today I did my reformer.
Dr. Kelli sending good wishes for you and the recent mamaogram. I had one 2 weeks ago and the dr. is on site and reads it right away, and I was good praise the Lord. Next week I have a dental cleaning, ( I'd rather give birth) !!!!
We don't have eye glass insurance and I only get the cheap readers from the grocery store, which can be a pain as they are on my head when I have to walk as I can't see to walk with them but need them to read labels.
Laura, your class sounded a bit stressful and unorganized...what gives? I can imagine your frustration.
Nomless yes my GD is a stitch and she's only 1 1/2. My oldest GD is almost 12 already...when did that happen. Hoping to see my new GS soon also, trying to talk them into coming here, the whole family would like to meet him but I understand flying with an infant isn't always the best. Time will tell I guess.
Lucy any news on Miss Lucy and her sore leg? Thinking about you and all the stuff you have going on, hoping your house is coming along with no snags!
Waving to all, MickD, Judy, foxxie, Tony ( yes I said Tony if you are peeking) LOL, have a great day!

Good morning, everyone. It's a dreary morning so far with the possibility of sprinkles.
They will probably cancel the WW 5K scheduled for this afternoon. I wasn't going anyway because they moved the time from 11:30 to 12:30 which gives me an hour to do nothing. My Zumba class is over at 11:15. Plus, they never start on time. They wait about ten minutes for late comers so actually, they will start at 12:40.
Have any of you that are watching your calories tried the Halotop ice cream? Very good. The vanilla is only 240 calories for the whole pint! Four Smart Points for half the carton. Unfortunately, it's too expensive for me to buy on a regular basis. $5.99 a pint! When I bought some to try, it was $4.99 on sale. This week, the price was $5.99 so I left it there. I'm going to check around for coupons or see if Aldi, the discount grocery store here sells it.
@DrKelli, good luck on that mammogram retake. I had mine last Saturday. Next year I'm going to wait until Oct 1st. They have special freebies during the month of October which I missed by one day. Every year I say this but I forget.
Zumba this morning and a walk on the indoor track. Very humid today. Have a great day everybody.
