Re: Welcome to the October Exercise Thread

I don't feel well today so no workout.

Skylark, I know you were pulling for the Cards, but I have to say I'm thrilled for the Cubs.   As you know, it's a big deal that they beat the Cards.

Bopper, I bet your home looks lovely.  How smart to get some Christmas lights up while the weather is still nice.

Re: Welcome to the October Exercise Thread

Hi, this morning I did a Leslie dvd but got bored with it so rode my bike and did TG.  Then I walked the trail with Logan.   When I came in, not 10 minutes later it was hailing and thundering through filtered sunshine...pretty Crazy!

Nomless you are not feeling well, take a day and just rest up.....Hubby said "why are you putting up the lights already"...duh....so I'm not out there when it;s 20 degrees and freezing my bajeebers off!  Hahaha

Bopper, you got home just in time.  I bet the hail in in the sunshine was pretty.

Still feeling bad today.  I haven't done a worko, ut yet, but am going to try to do some ChaLean.  I spent most of the day submitting job apps.  Wish I'd land a job....I'm tired of submitting apps.  It's discouraging but I gotta keep at it.

ETA: I did my workout.   Reluctantly, but I got it done.

Re: Welcome to the October Exercise Thread

Hi, Bopper, thanks for your prayers.  My goodness...snowflakes for you?!   Yikes.

I feel better today.  I did 50 mon cardio.

This morning, I had breakfast with a friend, then drove all about town looking for a book.  No one had it, but I got quite a bit of exercise in my search for it.  I'll order a copy but I was hoping to read it today.  Instead, I thought of a book I know I have that I'm in the mood to read, but it took me a while to find it.  I have loads of books here but limited space, so ther's no order or rhyme or reason to where they are.  I finally found the one I was looking for.

Now, I'm going to just sit for a while.  Happy weekend to all.

Re: Welcome to the October Exercise Thread

Not much to report today.  I did ChaLean Burn 3 and spent the rest of the day on the sofa reading.  Quiet day.  I hope everyone is having a fun weekend.

Re: Welcome to the October Exercise Thread

Hey all, well we had more thana few snowflakes, how about 4 inches, yes we sure did.  I pulled my shades up this morning and couldn't believe it.  Logan loved it...we walked the trail and his coat is like velcro when it comes to snow.  He had to "melt" down in the basement...so I basically just did that and stuff around here and called it a day.  Watching baseball playoffs and watched some college football.

The Duraflame is on and we're just relaxing here...

Nomless  glad your feeling better and having some sofa time.  Nothing wrong with that!

Night!

Re: Welcome to the October Exercise Thread

I saw pictures of your snow on the news, Bopper.  It looked nice, but it's too early for you to have to deal with winter!

I did a short cardio workout today.  Ever since they said anything less than 2 hours doesn't do much good, it's harder to stay motivated.  If an hour isn't going to have much benefit, why do it?   I might as well do only 30.  I know that's wrong thinking, but there it is.

My foot with PF seems better but now the other one hurts.  It feels like the bones have been squished and gotten bruised.   I've tried a few shoes I have in my closet, and they all seem too small.  I'll look for new ones after I get a job.

Happy Sunday to all.
