Re: Welcome to the October Exercise Thread

Your picture made me smile, Bopper.  Those two look like good friends.

I did ChaLean Burn 2 today.  It was a mental struggle to get it done because my mind is on things other than working out.

I've been reading Dan Wheeler's FB page the patt few weeks, following his posts about how his wife is doing.  It's so sad.  I admire their resolute faith and his willingness to be so open about the situation, asking for prayers.  I wish them peace during this difficult time.

Re: Welcome to the October Exercise Thread

Hi everyone, just did 3 fast miles outside before more rain sets in.   We've had lots of rain lately and we have more raking to get done before the rain turns white!

Nomless I'm glad you enjoyed the picture,,takes me back to the good old days.  I am also glad you mentioned Dan Wheeler's FB page.  I too am following it and it makes me so sad to hear of his wifes illness and today he said she is seeing glimpses of heaven and loved ones.  His faith is so strong, I admire him so much.....I pray for her everyday and for him.

Good job on your Chalene workout with everything you have on your mind you did great!

I was up late watching baseball again, these are good games...

Enjoy the day everyone!   I think this dear old lady is enjoying the card she received from a loved one who will never forget her!

Re: Welcome to the October Exercise Thread

I went to lunch with a friend, stopped at the lib, then got groceries.  Nice surprise there.....in the bulk section, they now have balsamic vinegar, the good thick kind.  You fill a little squirt bottle as you wish.  I got about 4 oz. to give it a try.  Winner, I think.

I did 45 min cardio when I got home.  My foot bothered me a little but I pushed through.

Re: Welcome to the October Exercise Thread

Happy Friday everyone, it was sunny when I looked out at 8 am, well it was getting sunny and blue skies and now it's all cloudy and dark....and here I was hoping for a sunny day...oh well out of my control.

I'm getting ready to run some errands in town and meeting some girls for lunch..then I am going to do some Christmas shopping too..would like to be all done before the weather gets bad.

Nomless sorry your foot is still bothering you, but you pushed through!  Let us know how you like that balsamic vinegar....

We have the trick or treaters tomorrow night from 4-7.   Seems like a long time 3 hours but I guess we always have it that long.   I haven't even opened the candy bags!   Staying strong hahaha

Waving to everyone, cater, Tony, skylark, patti, diva, and everyone joining us today.  Be sure to notice the November thread is up now too..Wanted to be sure I didn't forget with Halloween tomorrow!

Later gaiters!

Re: Welcome to the October Exercise Thread

I decided to rest my foot today, so no workout.

Bopper, Ii hope you had fun at linch and then Christmas shopping.  I haven't started thinking about it yet.  It's difficult for me to me up with good gift ideas.

I know this goes without saying, but I'm sad about the passing of Dan's wife.  I admire how he's handled these difficult weeks and am grateful that  Q allowed him to use his Q FB page in that manner.  He seemed to get comfort and strength from posting and reading the responses.  A big thank you to Q for letting Dan do it his way.

Re: Welcome to the October Exercise Thread

Happy Halloween!   It's raining and low 40's here so not very good....This morning I did my TG for about 25 minutes,,,now cleaning and vacuuming.  Kids usually start coming here around 4 pm and it goes until 7 pm.

Nomless lunch was fun thanks!   Didn't get much Christmas shopping done though...can't seem to find what I want with a price I can afford.   What are you doing today?

I have the Hallmark Christmas movies on while I"m cleaning so makes it not so bad....

Not much going on here today.  Baseball tonight...

Enjoy the day!

Re: Welcome to the October Exercise Thread

Hi, Bopper, we had rain this morning but now the sun is out.  Temp will be about 60 late afternoon, so it will be great for the kids.

I was suposed to do strength today, but I didn't feel like it, so I did 45 min cardio instead.

I need to go out and get pet supplies, then figure out what's for dinner.  Ooo, I'm loving the real balsamic vinegar I got the other day.  The flavor is a bit more mellow than the cheap stuff.

Happy Halloween to all.
