Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Thread

Well I caved and bought Laura Geller's new foundation.  My quest for the right foundation for me continues, will see how I like this one.  Thank goodness I was gone all day so couldn't get tempted by anything else.  I use nothing but Josie Maran's body butter but I have 2 of the huge 19oz tubs that they sell twice a year plus a smaller one so really am ok on that and really prefer using unscented lotions anyway.  So while the TSV was a bit tempting, I was able to resist.  The thing that is hard for me to resist are the lipsticks/glosses.  If they don't show any sets of those tonight, I'll be good.

My ankle was fine today and there wasn't a whole lot of walking so I did ok.  The animals were not cooperative so it was a bit of a bust animal-wise.  But it was nice having a day with my sister, the drive out was nice, the weather was beautiful, and on the way home we stopped off at a roadside produce stand and bought some cherries, tomatoes, etc., all grown right there.  They are delicious!  So it was a nice day even if the animals didn't cooperate.

Will see how my foot feels tomorrow morning.  May give it one more day of rest and then start exercising again on Monday.  I miss it!  I really really do!  Never thought I would said that in my life but it's true!

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Thread

Workouts done yesterday and today.  Now I'm doing cooking, laundry, etc.  Chore day.

Judy, yea tat your ankle is better.  It's too bad you didn't see many animals.

I didn't do any beauty shopping yesterday.  Nothing caught my interest.

Happy Sunday to all.

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Thread

Walked one of the newer trails this morning.  Was able to get out onto the creek on the flat rocks and watch the fish.  Kind of nice.

@JudyL  I'm still eyeing the free shipping on the PTR stuff.  It goes through tomorrow so I'm not safe yet.  The one good thing about considering quitting your job is it keeps you in line on the spending side.  We'll see if I cave too.  I'm glad you had a nice time with your sister.

Hope everyone is having a great Sunday!  I have family dinner tonight so I'll definitely have my heart rate up.  Pseudo cardio done later on.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Thread

Hey all, Sunday Funday, although seeing snow falling isn't fun!  We're so dang cold, 44 and windy.....we walked around the greenhouses today, just looking.  I'm not dragging in my plants from the garage to the house every night..will just have to wait until it warms up I guess, whenever that may be.

Judy glad the ankle is better, sounds like the wildlife sanctuary was fun.

I didn't buy anything on Beauty day.  I would have loved the JM body butters but have to watch my spending.

Fashion day tomorrow!   I most likely won't get anything but like to watch.

Laura enjoy your dinner tonight, love hiking trails!

Nomless I used my zoodle maker tonight for  salad so I'll see how it tastes.  I think you have to aquire a taste, its just different ya know?

Ok, we are eating now, so enjoy your evening everyone!

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Thread

Good Morning!

Laura - hope you get some rest.  Nothing worse than being tired at work!

Did a 30 minute PiYo workout this morning but not with a great amount of enthusiasm. LOL  I did not sleep well last night.  Was still awake well after midnight and my alarm goes off at 4:45!  So have a feeling by this afernoon/evening, I'm going to be tired!  But I'm proud of myself for pushing myself to get up and do a workout even if it wasn't done with much ooompf.  Before I would have just hit the snooze a few times and not done anything.

It's a beautiful day here in The Bay.  Hope everyone is having a good Monday!

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Thread

Hi all, it's a cold day here, looks nice from inside.  Wind chill is 37 outside....I'm so over this cold...Our summers are short as it is....any whooo  shouldn't complain as someone always has it worse.

I did 15 miles on my Xbike and then walked Logan on the trail....been in and out a few times also just to keep moving .

Judy sorry about your poor sleep.  Seems may are having sleep issues.  I go to bed tired and just lay there also.  My dad and sister same thing but it does zap your energy.  It's great you did a workout this morning even with being tired.

Laura I hope you can get of work early too, maybe a hike or walk...

Nomless what do you have going today other than work.  Is the bike fixed in the gym?   It was a bike wasn't It?

Not much going on here so all I have to say Have a great rest of your day!

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Thread

@bopper  No early sneak out today. All the minions showed up including Head Boss Minion.  I love that house.  I need to buy that cheap and retire.   I am so sorry your cold is hanging on.  For what it's worth, I had to turn the heat on here at work today so no summer here yet either.  This has been the longest I have ever worn my winter clothes out this far south.  2016 is kind of blowing the whole global warming thing to bits.

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Thread

It's cold and rainy here, too.  I wore a sweatshirt today.

Stuff happened after work, so darn, no workout. I'll try to do a Sansone later.  Bopper, yes, the bike is fixed.  Now, I can switch between treadmill and bike, so I don't get bored, and my workouts are longer.  Ellipticals are available, too, but I don't like them.

No other news.  Nervous about my doc appt tomorrow.
