Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Thread

Hey everyone, been a rough morning, needing prayers for a family memeber.  No workout but a dog walk and I am babysitting my GD this afternoon.  It's nice this morning, but the North wind is coming and a drastic cool down from the temp this morning.  We need badly, fire danger is very very high and to top it off it's very windy out.

@Mmsfoxxie enjoy Hamilton and hope you have good seats!

@Laura14 Agree don't bring anything else home, decluttering is where it's at.  I need to follow that rule myself!

@DrKelli You are a busy lady, your downtime must be very precious!    Happy Birthday early!

@JudyL glad you are on the mend, you had quite the ordeal but sounds like this is now behind you!

@MickD I did the trail today, had to hop over mud and go through brush to get to the trail but I made it.  It's so peaceful there, will try and go again after my GD leaves here.

Have a great day everyone!

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Thread

Hi Everyone!  @bopper sorry you are having a rough morning.  Prayers going out for your family member.

Been feeling a bit down in the dumps lately.  Still can't work out because I am having a bit of dizziness in the mornings and now the plantar fascitis in my left heel is acitng up so walking is painful.  Seems I've gained a bit of weight since my surgery so thats discouraging.  Changes happening at work that aren't good.  I'm just feeling overwhelmed at the moment.  I know there are other more important things happening in everyone's life, guess I just needed to let it all out for a bit.  Thanks for your patience!  LOL

It is a good day tho - the sun is out, the blue sky is full of fluffy white clouds, and I do have much to be grateful for.

@bopper sending prayers for your family member.....

@JudyL. Hang in there!  Sending calm and healing thoughts your way too...

I had one glass of wine too many last night......we went out to dinner.  Anyway, went on the beach trail with hubby and my old dog, Rex.  We did a walk and a light jog for 30 min.

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Thread

Atta girl @MickD.  Toss one back for me!

It's Power Time!  I went up on my weight this morning and got it done.

No Nudie.  No eye wash needed.  BUT,  Adonis made a comeback.  He apparently hurt his leg (didn't think I kicked him that hard) and he was back.  On the other side of the room with the girl who couldn't get close enough to me on Tuesday.  I hope they enjoyed each other far, far away from me.

I am going to start taking my vacation time from work.  Probably Mondays are my new three day weekends.  @DrKelli inspires me with her travels!

@bopper and @JudyL  I hope you are both feeling better this morning.  @nomless still thinking about you.  Heart

@Mmsfoxxie  You are my inspiration with that schedule.

I am handing the contractor his check to start on my new home.  I am getting excited that it may actually happen for me!

Have a great Thursday!!

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Thread

Good morning everyone.  Gorgeous day yesterday!

@JudyL, maybe you got back into things too quickly and need to relax a little longer.  @bopper, I hope your family member's problem gets better soon.

The Hamilton play was fantastic!  How can people have so much talent!  Such memories and quick wit!  Not a single person was lacking.  I'd see it again if I didn't have to go through the hustle bustle of dealing with that downtown rush hour environment.  My seat was not the best but you get what you're willing to pay for.

I think I have a Dramamine hangover cause I'm sluggish this morning so I might not make that 8:15 Zumba Tone class.  Maybe my coffee will get me going, lol.  But I'm going to go walking if nothing else.  Have a great day all.

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Thread

Good Morning, it's only 40 outside this morning.  Thank you for the prayers, please keep them coming..

So I'm watching the chair gym, interesting.  I like that it's so portable and light weight but I really don't need it.  You know how that goes, we don't "need" most of what we purchase!

@Mmsfoxxie so happy you loved the Hamilton.   Sounds like a very enjoyable time!

@JudyL take it a little slower perhaps.   You've made great progress!

@MickD I'll have a glass of wine with you!   I walked on the trail last night, still muddy but I skipped over it.  It just gives me some peace being in the woods, I know you understand.

Babysitting again today, but will get in a TG workout this morning and a stroller walk later on.  I wish it wasn't so windy because the wind is right out of the North and it's cold.  We are still waiting for the leaves to come out on the trees, that's how far behind we are from where most of you live!

Waving to Laura, nomless, Gemspirit, Tony, and everyone joining us today.  Have a blessed day!

@Mmsfoxxie, thanks for the shout out. I've been in a bit of a funk. I'm so glad you enjoyed Hamilton.

Prayers for both @JudyL and for @bopper and her family. Lots of good wishes to you both.

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Thread

Good morning, all!

@Mmsfoxxie, I am SO glad you liked Hamilton!

@Laura14, enjoy your 3 day weekends.  I used to work for a place that did 9-80s--you worked 9 hour days and got a 3 day weekend every other week. The Friday you worked, you worked 8 hours.  And if your Friday off fell on a holiday, you got an in lieu of day the day before the holiday.  It was great.

@nomless@bopper@MickD@JudyL--waving hi!

Today, one of my friends that I haven't seen in 5 years or more is going to be in Denver.  I'm meeting him for dinner tonight.  When we met in 2003, we just clicked.  He worked for the association that I was a member of.  We're very entertaining when we get together.

Today is Zumba day--I'm not teaching (at least I don't think I am), but will be a participant.  I'm really tired right now.  After my next class at Phoenix (scheduled in July), I think I'm going to only teach once a year.  It takes so much time and energy.  It was a blessing when I first started because the extra money really helped. It still pays for vacation, but the work I have to do is becoming rapidly not worth it.

Hope y'all have a great day!
