Foxxie if you click on View discussion in a popup, a new tab opens up top, like a new page.  It's above the address bar.  All I do is go between the 2 tabs.  I can type on my tab in this box, and then go to the other tab and scroll down to see what the other folks have said, then go back to my tab, and type.  Does that make sense?   I don't even know anything about auto draft!!  I'm not to computer literate!  LOL

@bopper.  I can't do it....must be the iPad.  I'll have to remember to check that way next time I'm on my antiquated Dell laptop.

Enjoy your beautiful Sunday, @bopper@MickD@Iluvlucy@DrKelli@nomless, @Laurie14 (if you're still on) and all that happen to stop by.

No exercising today except for normal moving around.  A day of rest...ahhhhhh.

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Thread

I meant to mention:  yesterday, while walking on the track, another walker while passing me said, "your back".  I said, huh?  She said, "you're not walking straight".  She smiled broadly probably to make sure I wasn't offended.  I wasn't.  I said, "oh, thank you, I forget to do that".  She never stopped walking as she passed, walking much faster than me.  So I straightened up, I thought.

A couple minutes later, I felt a touch on my back.  It was her.  I smiled and asked was I better.  She said, "yes but you're still bent.  You're walking and looking down which probably helps to keep you bent without realizing it".  She was right.  Besides the arthritis all over my body, I do walk looking down.  I told her she probably was right and that I would try walk looking out instead of down.  I thanked her profusely for the tip.

So as I passed mirrors while walking I looked at my posture.  Much improved.  (I've looked at myself as I walked before but I didn't always see it because I'm always looking at my physique from a weight perspective).   I don't know how she knew what she knew but it was a great tip.  When people unconsciously walk bent over, it gets worse over time.

I've only seen this lady once before.  She might have debated telling me before and decided this time that she would share her thoughts.  I'm glad she did.

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Thread

Happy Sunday everyone, and it's my Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!  Whoop whoop!   LOL

Sunny here all day but very very cold.   Only 40 and we are still waiting for the leaves to come out here.  Greenhouses are open but can't buy plants when we are in 20's at night still.

Just took an easy day here, just got back from dinner and watching baseball.  Not much new.

Foxxie that lady I bet took you by surprise!  Good point though and I think we are all guilty of it.   I sometimes stand up against a wall and pull my shoulders back and then walk away and it really reminds you to stand up straight.  I think my Pilates is helping me with that too.

Hoping everyone had a good day today!

That's another good tip, @bopper

Happy Birthday, @bopper!  Another beautiful year of life to celebrate.  Another 29th year, lol.

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Thread

Good morning, Ladies.  Rise and shine to a beautiful day...whatever your weather is.  For me here, it's full of sunshine but will only get to the low forties.  Not what I'd wish for but it's ok.

On the agenda for me today is a little walking (with my back straight, lol), cardio and then weights/cardio mix.  Hope all is well with everybody.

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Thread

We've moved into the thunderstorm portion of the year.  It is beautiful this morning, but we are expecting some severe t storms this afternoon and for the rest of the week.  The upcoming weekend is supposed to be wonderful, but on Saturday, I am in a Zumba instructor training all day.  I find that my skills improve a lot during that 8 hour training class.

Hope you are all having a great day.

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Thread

Happy Monday, we were cold this morning too.  29 here and even Logan's water was frozen solid.  I think my lilac buds were froze too.  What a shame and I sure hope the blueberries and strawberries didn't freeze.  We are also only in the 40's, and most of this week.  Way below normal for this time of year.  As I said before we don't even have any leaves on our trees yet.  They are there but not out....just too cold.

I did an hour of Pilates this morning and walked.  Thank you for the BD wishes, it was a nice day.  I got a gravity lounge chair, have always wanted one so it has to warm up so I can sit outside on it.

Hoping everyone has a good day!
