Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Check In

Hi, all!! Allergies are so terrible here right now. I'm just trudging through. Plus, I have to sleep propped up some, so I'm not sleeping well AND I'm going to bed late because of busy-ness, so it feels like it should be AT LEAST Friday. Lol! I've been doing some workouts this week, but nothing crazy. I'm going to spin tmrw, and about to lift at home in a minute. I've been eating better this week, but still need to reign in the sweets a little. Looks like everyone is hanging in and cranking it! Smiley Wink it's been in the 90s here this week --- help!!!! Should cool down a little and we might even get some rain and we NEED IT!! Ok, I'm gonna get moving. Have a great day, all!!

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Check In

Good Morning Ladies! It's Thursday! Weekend is within sight!

This morning I got up and did the Body Blade workout. Oh my word! It was much tougher than I thought it would be but then I am way out of shape so take that into account too. That aside I have a feeling I'm going to be lucky to be able to pick up a pencil by the end of the day! LOL Also think I'll feel it in my abs and legs. Felt good to be doing a workout again.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Judy

nomless I felt tired this morning too,,,,and it didn't help the On Demand was awful...the fake smiles...drive me nuts..and no cueing....

FUTURE almost Friday....it's not hot here by any means, but i think I'd actually prefer my weather over hot....I am not a hot weather person...have a good day!

Waving to all!

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Check In

Morning! We're in PA, got in here last night. We went through WI, IL, IN, OH and into PA all yesterday. Kids left at 3:45 this morning for HI, we went to bed at midnight, I had two-hours sleep Wednesday night, drove 12-hours and I still got up to see them off...you have no idea how excited I'll be to be back in my own bed tonight.

Yesterday morning I went for a run and stopped at the cemetery to say my last farewell. It was nice being there by myself. The funeral was packed, especially for a Wed morning. They sent some Marines down from Madison on top of the regular military honors...it was very moving.

I love running out in the country, it was so nice watching the sun come up as I was running in that same direction. Made me a little homesick but I know I'd get tired of not having any good shopping and restaurants nearby. Still something to be said for small-town life.

Anyway, I'm heading to the gym....we're going to take the dogs out for a power-walk first. I hope everyone has a great Friday!

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Check In

Morning, cloudy and wet here this morning but it is 50 degrees.

Last night my sister and I attended a National weather storm spotter class. It was very interesting to see all the different clouds and video's of storms...he said the big lake could very possibly still have ice on it in June...said this past winter is one for the books, totally agree!

Just finished an intermediate workout on the TG...now having my Greek yogurt with chia seeds and some berries..

Tomorrow is supposed to be the best day of the weekend and I will get on my bike and take my first official ride....

MickD you still did it! That's the way.

Sorry about everyone's allergies...seems to be another bad year for that... ( knock on wood) I am alright.

Pppmint glad you made it to PA and the kids are safely off and you can finally head home. What a blessing to be home again...The service sounds very moving and very appropriate for this wonderful gentleman.

Ok kids heading to the showers....later gaiters.

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Check In

Hi, Mick, you did well. Hope you can sleep tonight.

Patty, what a long week you've had. It will be good to be back home.

Hi, Bopper, I bet the storm class was interesting.

Well, I've been bad the past 2 days. On Wed., I decided I was tired of working out and doing 21DF and needed a break. So I took off Wed, yesterday, and will do so today. I'll get back to working out tomorrow, but oh, how nice it's been to go home in the evening and just nest that than heading back out to a workout. And how nice to eat what I feel like eating instead of what I should eat. I've thoroughly enjoyed my little vacation, but I will get back on track, I promise. Workouts will resume tomorrow. I may wait until Monday to get back on the 21DF eating plan. I haven't even felt guilty about my workout vacation.

TGIF!
