Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Check In

Morning all, it's back to cold here, in the 40's..after 75 yesterday...everyone was saying It's too hot....just not used to that drastic of a change...but not hot today!

I was going to bike ride but it all of a sudden is screaming windy...not biking in that...not enjoyable. Think I"ll sweep out the garage and see what else in there needs to be organized. Hubby doesn't seem to think it needs to be organized but seriously why is there 2 containers of Oil opened at the same time....you all know what I'm sayin! LOL

MickD good job on the treadmill!

Pppmint home safe and sound...Hoping Lucy feels better...

Nomless hope your weekend is nice...it's ok to deviate from the plan occasionally. We can't do the same things for ever and ever!

Ok all heading outdoors.

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Check In

Hey all, we're home!!{#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

It's muggy here...the dew-point is higher than the humidity...bleck. But we still did 21 miles on bikes and ran 4...and I walked the dogs 2 miles earlier this a.m. Was going to run the full 5 around the lake but I got a blister on the bottom of my foot so we turned around at 2. {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

My legs and back sure are stiff after all that driving...and my sciatica is hurting again but that's nothing new. I know, waaaahhhh!Wink{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Grand-dog woke us up at 4:30 and threw-up on carpet at 6...and I didn't go to sleep until after midnight since I took a half of an Allegra yesterday morning...ay. I've been doing laundry and cleaning in between the exercise...now have to go get cats and groceries.

Think I'll do some yoga and hop in the shower. Hope everyone has a great weekend!! I'm starving!{#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Check In

Happy Mother's Day everyone! I believe any woman has been a 'mother' to someone...whether 2 or 4-legged.

Took the dogs on a 2-mile trail run this morning and had a big doe jump out right in front of us...the grand-pup went crazy! Then I went for a 3-mile run while dh stayed with dogs and did his weights, and now he's out running and I'll do my weights as soon as I rehydrate a bit more.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day...it's hot here already!!{#emotions_dlg.unsure}

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Check In

Had a fabulous day with my DD and SIL. Had a nice lunch then headed to a nearby lake for a 3 mile hike. It was a beautiful day here too. Now I'm home, doing laundry and settling in for the night!

Hope everyone had a nice day today

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Check In

Morning, not Spring like today...40 degrees and raining...it robs me of motivation...39 on Thursday.....no leaves yet either.

Total gym full body this morning. I had a lack of motivation, yawning and feeling sluggish....but I pushed through.

Hope everyone had a nice day yesterday ....we had sun yesterday!

Judy sounds like your day was very nice....

Not much else here, so have a good day!

Re: Welcome to the May Exercise Check In

Well, I survived that WOD(work out of the day) but just barely.{#emotions_dlg.unsure}

I just realized I even forgot to take my pod(heart-rate monitor) off and turn in. But Holy Cow, 15% incline and hard strength and weights after 4-days of driving...ugh!! In my best Forrest Gump voice, "That's all I got to say about that"!

I also took the dogs for 3 miles this morning, don't know if I'll be able to do that much longer in this heat and humidity. Or I'll have to take them much earlier than I do.

Guess I better call the gym and see if I have to drive back out to turn in my pod.{#emotions_dlg.glare}

Have a great day everyone!
