Skechers have no support. I use ASICS and put a 30$ orthotic recommended by my podiatrist. They are called power walk or power step. You can get them thru Amazon or at a drug store. I have PF in both feet and haven’t had a flare up in years since I started wearing them

Good morning all. Here's hoping everyone has a great day today.
@DrKelli, thanks for the reminder about your mom. Still hoping her outcomes are good and glad that the family drama (we all have some) is not affecting her.
You mentioned that orthotic before @DrKelli@but I forgot to research it. So you order your shoe larger so that the orthotic will fit? Or size down with the orthotic fits in?
@nomless, good that your doing ok. Three cats? You're going to have your hands full, lol.
@bopper, yes I do have a Red Hatter event coming up this month. A week in Canada. This should be fun....if I keep my motion sickness under control. Also there is a day cruise included. I'm really looking forward to it starting on Monday, June 18th.
Body & Sculpt. Flexibility and Zumba on schedule this morning. Make it a great day people.

@tsavorite wrote:Hello ladies I was wondering if I could ask a question....can anyone recommend a good tennis shoe? I have recently been diagnosised with PF and being treated for it but I am thinking the skechers I am using are not doing me any favors.
Thank you!
@tsavorite I second Asics and I have also had really good support from Brooks as well. I do not have PF but I have no arch in my foot so I need a great shoe support too.

Went to Pound today which was over before I knew it. Summer has officially hit with the schools out and no one coming to the gym anymore. The few girls that did show up said they didn't go last week either so I wonder if anyone showed for the sub.
Power after that and I was proud of myself for sticking with normal weight even during the decreased weight tracks. It means I have a new normal on weight. I'm hoping some of the at home workout is helping too.
We had a grand total of 13 in Power class so slim pickings but lots of room which I'll take.
Have a great Tuesday all!

Good morning, all! Another hot one here in Denver today.
@Mmsfoxxie, I wear a 9.5 in athletic shoes, 9 in regular shoes. I just buy the orthotic to fit whatever shoe. The powerstep (walk--whatever) is pretty thin, but it provides just enough of an arch support that it takes away all my foot pain. You shouldn't have to mess around with size--just buy for whatever size your shoe is and trim to fit.
Today is small group. We're down to 2 of us because the 3rd is on a vacation in New Zealand. As much as I would love to see that part of the world, I cannot see myself on a plane for the amount of time it takes to get there.
My mom is still doing well, I think she just wants to get this over with and get on the road to healing. I got a text from my niece that my sister was going to take the whole week off. The original plan was that she would be there M-W and my niece would be there Th-Sunday. My sister will drive my mom nuts because she literally cannot sit still. She fidgets and drives everyone crazy. The girl needs to get a hobby and by that I mean, she needs to get some exercise to burn off some of that crazy. She is in horrible physical shape and she drinks and smokes way too much.
Well, one Phoenix class ended and one begins today. I had one student who just did not engage and her work was pretty sub-par. She never participated (20% of her grade) and she only turned in one part of her last assignment so she got 4 points out of 10. I don't think she is going to pass the class. I begged her every week to get those participation posts--if she would have done that--she would have passed the class. Oh well, she's an adult. She'll pay the price--maybe literally if she has to take the class again.
I finally lost it with the rude people in this office. I went to put my lunch away and the supply of sparkling water was down to 3 cans. No one bothered to put a new box in the fridge when they took the last can. I sent an email about being courteous and as of today, I will not be restocking the fridge on a regular basis. The LaCroix supply is literally 10 steps from the fridge. The paper towels and extra k-cups are under the counter--it's not like this stuff is locked up. I'm done with being the kitchen fairy.
Hope you all have a great day!

@DrKelli I feel your pain on so many levels of that post! Don't get me started on office supplies. It has amazed me for decades how you can take the last of something and not tell me. I AM RIGHT THERE. You have to walk by my desk when you come back from that area to get out again. Speak, person. Speak!
I almost want to put in a secret video camera to watch the chaos when I leave.
I am sure you mom wants it done and over. It's the waiting that gets you. I am sure she will get through it just fine in spite of your sister. I wish I had a magic wand to control siblings. If you find one, let me know.
It's funny you bring up classes. I've been toying with doing another writing one. But a big part of it is everyone participating and I hate to spend a lot of money and you and one other person put in the effort. Nothing you can control but I don't get people who sign up, spend money, and then do nothing. Fascinates me.
Anyway, I'll be thinking of you and your family over the next several days. ![]()

@bopper can you tell me a bit about the Simply Fit DVDs that you have? Do they have a website that I can check out? Curious to know what they are. Thanks!

@tsavorite I am dealing with PF right now also. Have off and on for years. The shoes I like best are New Balance and then I put in Dr. Scholls inserts that I got at CVS. Good luck with your PF!

@DrKelli oh my I also feel your pain re the office supply! My pet peeve is the paper towels. The paper towels are in the cupboard right above where the paper towels sit on the counter but do you think people replace it when they take the last one?! NOOOO! Drives me nuts. So one day I see that once again someone took the last of paper towels - what they actually did was leave a little bit stuck to the tube - anyway, I had had enough!. So I took a medium sized post-it and wrote "REALLY?!" and stuck it to the paper towel tube. Believe it or not, a couple of the male attys went to the secty that sits near the kitchen and said "what's that about?" Good lord be, and these people are from top law schools! The next time it happened I thought I'd try a different approach. Again, I took a medium sized post-it and wrote "Paper towels" with an arrow pointing up to the cupboard above and stuck it on the empty paper towel tube. Didn't help. LOL

Woke up this morning and my foot was not happy and the dizziness was pretty bad so no workout for me this morning. I'll see how tired I am after work tonight and maybe I'll feel like doing something.
Hope everyone has a good day!
