Happy Tuesday everyone!
@tsavorite I'm another asics lover! I have foot problems too and these work great for me!
@DrKelli That's too bad about your student. Why take a class and not put all one's effort into it?? Especially for 20% easy peasy participation....
Got on the trail before the clouds cleared. 33min run done!

Well, today is the last day that I'm restocking the drink fridge. I'll do it if I take the last can of something, but I'm not making it part of my routine any more. Same with the paper towels--I'll keep the cabinet stocked and will replace the roll if I use the last of a roll, but I'm not doing it on the regular.
The last thing I did this over was the bottled water--now we have a water dispenser. There are some who will drain it and not replace the bottle. These people are grown *** adults.

@JudyL wrote:@bopper can you tell me a bit about the Simply Fit DVDs that you have? Do they have a website that I can check out? Curious to know what they are. Thanks!
Hi Judy, I learned about the Simply Fit Board on Facebook and there is a Simply Fit group I am in where all the workouts are posted and you can actually watch them all on Youtube. Can you get on Youtube on your computer? Amazon has some dvd's also but you can't watch them first. I'd suggest watching on Youtube, just type in Youtube, and then type in Simply Fit workouts with Rosalie Brown. I'm amazed at how much of a workout this gives me and that you don't just twist on it, my bum is sore and I get out of breath, I don't go as fast as she does but she even says make it your own, get a drink of water if you need to, just pace yourself. I'm doing the 21 day challenge now, but I'm on day 4 and thinking I'll do it every other day because of I do the same workout everyday I'll get burned out and hate it, I know myself that way. I just ordered a taller squat stand for my TG too so want to get back into that. I was able to watch my Simply Fit workout on my TV now as we have a Roku and I can go to that and get Youtube and then typed in Simply Fit workouts and they came up so that's better for me than watching on my laptop with a larger screen. That little board helps lots with balance if that's an issue for you but you can put your board in front of a chair and hang on if you wish, it really works your core as you are balancing on it. I found doing it on carpet doesn't work so good, it's better if you have hardwood floors but it's a must to put a mat under the board, like an flat indoor/outdoor mat. I ended up getting the mat they suggested for 10$ on Amazon because I have carpet and then place both the mat and the board on a piece of plywood because even placing both on carpet was harder to twist, now I'm good. There is a beginner workout too.

Hope that helps. Might as well continue here Hahah, did the 21 day challenge workout and then walked 2 miles. Over 11,000 steps now. Have a good day everyone!

@bopper - Thanks for the info. Went on Amazon to check it out. I have seen it before, guess I didn't remember its name. The twisting action makes me a little hesitant. It might be something to consider later on down the line.

Good morning everyone. Beautiful Wednesday on the horizon.
Thanks for the insert info @DrKelli. I'll have to check that out. @JudyL, with twisting exercises like that, I find that holding my head still, looking forward keeps me from getting dizzy. I had an exercise disc years ago that was similar to this. Interesting video @bopper.
Not sure what I'll be doing today. I need to work in my yard pulling weeds. Might go for a workout....not sure.
Have a great day ladies.

Good morning, all--I finally got in to post. It looks like there are all kinds of technical issues today with the dot com.
Today, my office is going to lunch at a local restaurant and then going to the rooftop garden in my building for beer, wine and cake for the afternoon. They are celebrating the purchase of another power plant, so we basically get the afternoon off. I'm still going to try to go to yoga, which is at 10 and I should be back in the office by 11:15, we go to lunch at 11:30. After work, I have to go to the UPS store to mail my mom a box of books so she has them by the time she has surgery. I don't know how much she will want to read, but at least she'll have them if she does.
I finished my one class--get this--I had one person get a D minus. If she would have completed her participation requirements (8 posts over 3 separate days each week), she would have had a B. I can't believe people do that. She isn't the first one either.
I started a new class yesterday, and they have yet to post in the classroom. I hate when students wait until the weekend because I have posting requirements that are 5 out of 7 days, and 5 or more posts each day.
I'm less than a week away from A Night with Mike and Mickey (of the Monkees). I know they are doing music that isn't necessarily Monkees, but the article I read said that there are Monkees songs that they can't not do. The only stuff they won't do are the songs Davy sang lead on--except Daydream Believer. I hope it is a good show.
Hope you all have a great day!

Hey everyone, grocery day and that's about it. I walked when I got home though. As far as the twisting, you aren't turning that much each direction I don't think to make you dizzy, I keep watching the TV straight on so I haven't experienced that. Remember too having a chair near by helps if you were to lose your balance but I'll tell you after a couple times doing it you get the feeling of it and it's much easier. Do not do it on hard floor without the mat though as it's way too slippery. As I said I used a short indoor/outdoor mat and put mine on that. I can even do it outside as long as I have the mat. My bum is sore, I didn't do it today, I still need to be aware of my healing hamstrings which are much better but don't want to jump right in just yet.
Looks like rain right now. 60 outside, was in the lower 40's when I got up, still winter jacket mode at those temps.
Enjoy your afternoon!

Good morning everybody. Correct, @bopper, keeping the head facing forward is how I do when I have to twist my body. (Probably repeating myself, sorry, lol).
Enjoy your show @DrKelli. You might be getting like me young lady.....liking all of the oldsters in entertainment, lol. But you and @Laura14 can't be too old...you have too much energy.
I have a scheduled dentist appointment today. That might meant that my eating will be ruined for the rest of the day if I get injections. Might be a good thing, though, lol.
Enjoy your day folks!

Went to Power. I've been up since 2am for some reason. I was able to get back in bed around 3am and catnap a bit until I got up at 5am. Grabbed a new pair of pants one of my sisters gave me once upon a time and went to the gym.
It was only once I was there that I realized the material was a bit different on the lower leg. I was Nudie! Not quite thank goodness but the material from the knee down to the calf was very thin. It was not see through at all which I made sure of but I had a good panic for 30 seconds. Nudie actually did show up today and was fully dressed. She probably was looking for a chance to shame me and she almost did.
I went up on my weight again and I'll probably feel it tomorrow. Still proud that I got stronger and about time too. Pushups on my toes and full on planks. Two snaps up.
Have a great day all!

Take a look at these Logo leggings. The top pair, I bought a month or so ago and they move well when I workout. So I ordered another Logo legging but this one a pedal pusher style. Both are size petite medium but look at the difference in the width. The russet color is like a boat on me, lol. I’m going to return them and do a big protest if I don’t get a complete refund.
