Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Hey all happy Thursday!   I did 3.5 miles outside this morning and 35 on my reformer.  It was sunny when I left and not 10 minutes later all clouds, and still clouds and only 53.  Quite the strange Spring even for us.

foxxie so glad you got your package, our mail lady puts mine in the box too if it isn't arriving UPS.   But main thing is you have it!    We haven't had much warmth, and so much rain.  It is quite disappointing to those wanting weekend plans and camping plans.   I have lots of joint pain, I just barrel through best I can.  I have a heating pad on my low back every morning before I get out there.   Interesting about the Raw food diet, good for you!    Colors on TV can look quite different but glad your keeping the shirt and the dress.

nomless I now need to watch both of those shows, I do watch HGTV but why haven't I noticed that.  I need side tables and lamps also so don't feel bad and yes I could get rid of half of my stuff too and it would look a lot better.  I get overwhelmed and don't even know where to begin.  My side table is my place for remote, my water,  glasses...etc.  It doesn't seem livable without table lamps and end tables to me.  I need that.

DrKelli you are inspiring me to get rid of stuff and begin filling bags too. Like how much Lock n Lock do I need!  Seriously it's just the 2 of us.   Among other things.  Have you tried putting down that week block over the raised beds?   I have so many weeds, that's all that grows here too and moss.... I was hoping to plan my moms grave this weekend but they said 70% rain once again....the soil is soggy now!

Lucy we miss you, check in and let us know you are okay please.

MickD I know you got in a few miles today either treadmill or trail.  Enjoy your day!

Okay lunch time, Adios!

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

@DrKelli, wow, you're a busy bee, too.  Is this your home you're talking about?

Can't you pull the weeds out of the raised beds?  I have one and that's what I usually do.  I haven't done diddly this year.  My husband pulled some, trying to give me a hint, lol.

Enjoy your Zumba class.  I changed my mind about going out and did my own homemade workout.

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

@Mmsfoxxie--Lord, no!  There are thousands of weeds in those beds.  Plus my yard gets southwest exposure in the afternoon and I would literally cook out there if I attempted to weed those stupid things.  My dad did it one year when he was still alive and it took him 2 days.  Yes--it is my home and I'm taking the laziest way possible to deal with the nonsense. LOL.

Sit down, people--I will be subbing my first Zumba class on June 15.  Our regular instructor can't find anyone to sub for her, so I said that I would do it because I have 45 minutes worth of routines.  She said she would check with the group exercise manager so that she could be in there for me to "audition" (no pressure there) but it looks like that will be my first class with no safety net!

I got good and sweaty today.  Now I just have to wait for the official confirmation email from our regular teacher!

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Foxxie,I'm clueless about decorating. I watch those shows hoping for ideas I could use on my place, but I have yet to see anything I could do here. My place is simply rooms with furniture in them, no decor whatsoever. I would so like to have de or that looks inviting but I have no idea how to do it. 😞

DrKelli, yay re: your subbing gig! You'll do great!

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Congratulation, @DrKelli!  I'm sure you'll be great.

Gonna be another beautiful day today.  I exercised at home so I missed it except for getting a breeze from the window. I'm definitely going out today, though.  It's supposed to get around 80 degrees.

Walking and my cardio class this morning.

Hello to everybody....forgot to say that, lol.  Have a great day.

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

@nomless, I am the same way about decorating.  I would love to have a home that doesn't look like I just got out of college.  I have a friend who actually went to school for interior decorating and she said she would come over and give me some ideas.  One day, I will take her up on it.

Hi @Mmsfoxxie@bopper and everyone else!  It's supposed to be a nice day today and today's workout will be the laziest one I can do--meaning walk on the treadmill.  LOL

Have a good weekend.

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Well I am down with the stomach bug, not a good night last night.  I'm heading to bed right now and am on the mend.

Good Night!

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Good morning, everyone.  Glad to be alive on this beautiful day.  It's expected to be around 85 degrees.

@bopper, I hope you're feeling better today.  I wondered about you early on because you hadn't checked in.  What a plan buster being sick.

I'm gonna do my Zumba this morning.I hope.  When I got up this morning, one of my knee bones seemed out of place.  Quite often arthritis will play with you like that for an hour or two, then you're fine.  I hope that's the case because I told someone yesterday that I would definitely be there since I missed last week.  I'm starting to think twice about saying I'm going to do something or be somewhere because so often my body will give be the finger, lol.

Have a great day everyone.
