Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Hey all, cloudy and gloomy here too. Yesterday we had rain the entire day so it's all wet here.

Took my dad to an antique car show this morning and shopping for new tennis shoes. We didn't find any shoes that fit him but we both enjoyed the car show. They were playing 50's music in the background and we both enjoy that.

Squats, abs, and push ups today..

Have a good one!

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Boy, where is everyone? MickD, Mtnbikegirl, haven't seen you two in a while...Canine, wish you would check in!

We are heading out early today so we can beat the crowds on the W&OD trail...going to get a long one in. My legs are a little fatigued/sore from yesterday's work-out(4-mile run and legs), I know I am in need of a day off...looked back through June and haven't taken a day off the entire month. Not good, but I know I'll have to miss some this week week with the move.

I went ALL day yesterday, slept like a rock from 11 to 4...that's when the Kat started meowing. We watched a pretty good movie with Keven Costner in it after we went out to eat with friends...they recommended it.

Got the one room all cleaned out yesterday...started with the light fixtures and worked my way down. Did the drawers and cabinets and took everything out so I could start loading stuff in there that we're taking with us so the movers can't get to. Went to Walmart for groceries, dropped off oil at a car place, went to the dry cleaners, and did 15 loads of laundry on top of cleaning, taking down pictures, shredding, sorting, etc...didn't feel like going out to eat but knew I'd be glad once we did.

The only good thing about the construction going on here is that there is a dumpster we can use!

Okay, getting ready to roll...literally! Have a great day and week everyone!

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Hi, all!! Patty, I had one of those days, too!! Non-stop from 8-8. Including almost 3 hours of yard work (omgosh, my back and hamstrings are so sore today!) and up and down the stairs a million times. We need your dumpster for our boxes!! Lol! I told hubby I'm not doing one thing today after church. Except touching up paint, lol! My last two Saturdays have been exhausting. Next week we have plans, so at least I know I won't have to do it then! Have a good Sunday, everyone!

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Hey all, I'm tired just reading your day Pppmint, LOL....my day sounds pretty boring compared to that! Same old stuff here, but I'm not complaining mind you!

Did TG today mixing it up, then 75 squats standing, ( not on the gym) 75 leg raises, and a few push ups. DH just made me a super good egg white omlette and I devoured it!

May go to Lowes to look for some stuff, otherwise we got nothin!

Have a good one!

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Oh no MickD!!! I hope you feel better today, take it easy.

Yep, FUTURE, I'm not lying when I say I ran up and down our FOUR flights of stairs yesterday over 100 times. We loaded dh's Jeep and hung up the clothes bar and loaded it up, it's bending so I hope it doesn't break! That's happened to us before.

We did a half-century yesterday on the bikes! I slept good last night! I really need today to be my day off but it isn't going to be...I know I'll have to take off the day we leave because I won't want to start off with sweaty pt clothes. I'll be able to do laundry until that day.

Have to get out there, the movers can be here between 8 and 10 so need to be back and showered! Have a great day everyone!!

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Morning, checking in with 21 day fix lower body along with 80 squats, and 23 push ups...so humid in the house I am pooped....I really need my hubby to carry up our AC unit just for the humidity as it's not warm out...but so muggy...it zaps me..

MickD I hope you feel better, take it slow starting back up and don't do too much..

Nomless I did TG yesterday also on level 4....I really like mine...and feel very supported and in correct form . I just made up my routine, which one did you do?

Pppmint Rock and Roll baby!.....Good luck with everything...I bet Lucy and the cats wonder what's up?

Judy how are you,,,,? I know you are anxiously awaiting your trip!

FUTURE yard work is hard work! We had lots of rain this past weekend so we didn't really accomplish anything outside....

Waving to all our MIA's..
