Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Happy Saturday, it's muggy here too, not hot by any means but when the humidity and temp are the same it's still uncomfortable.  I did over 11 on my outside ike this morning.  Road to the lake and used the bike path.  Have to use the highway to get to the bike path though so I am very careful.   Thunderstorms and 70% chance of rain the rest of today and most of tonight and tomorrow so Fathers Day will be a wash out.  There is a Rodeo here too that will be awfully wet.  It's a shame, so many people wanting to plan outside activities.

Foxxie I agree, I would rather donate also, buying online is getting expensive if you consider you pay to ship it back and it's so high!

DrKelli nice poem, thank you.  I hadn't heard of it before.

Laura how did the pound class go with 1 hand?

nomless glad the feet are holding up?   Any weekend plans?

MickD are you on the trail.  We're so wet here, the trail still has standing water and mud and so buggy!

I think lunch is calling me!   Have a great day!

MickD we did enjoy the concert, it was looking like rain but it held off.  Glad we went, thank you for asking  Smiley Happy

Hi Everyone!  Wahooo!!  16.2 pounds down and fit into the next size down pants comfortably.  Its a good Satuday!  LOL

Did housework this morning  - moving things, vacuuming, and then it got too warm to do anything else.

Enjoy your weekend!

That's great, @JudyL.  Keep going til you reach goal.  Keep in mind that reaching goal means no more dues.  That was my focus.  I'd join again except I don't want another monthly bill.  When I joined my fitness center last year, I quit WW.  Wasn't losing.  I was frustrated with the new plan but I decided that the center was more worth my money at that time.

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Good morning, everybody.  Rise and shine!

Im not sure if working out is in my future today.  If I do, it will be inhouse.

Gotta do my nails, purple to match my toes.  While on FB last week, an ad from Coach came up showing this purple hobo handbag came up and I ordered it.  I had been looking for one.  It came Thursday and looks good although the color purple is a little less vibrant than I expected.  My walking shoes are purple (had those already), I have Algeria shoes with purple in them which was the TSV about three weeks ago.  So I'm set for my Red Hatter trip.  My Lug overnight bag that I use for a gym is purple (TSV from December) but I think it might be too small to use.  I'll see.  Now that I see this in print, it looks like I need more red besides my red hat, lol.  Hmmm.

Hope the rain isn't too much for everyone.  Be safe.

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Happy Father's Day to all the dads, step dads, father figures and even moms who have had to become both parents!   May they all be blessed!

Raining cats and dogs here and I mean raining!  Over an inch and rain in the forcaste for the next 4 days, this is pretty ridiculous.

Watching baseball and not much else around here today.

foxxie cool you found the handbag, it was meant to be!  Your trip is going to be awesome!  Paint your nails red!

It is kind of cozy though with the rain, think I"ll bake some bars and make a pot of coffee!  Who wants to join me!

Be well everyone!

Did 2.75 mi/33 min on the treadmill

@bopper no trail....don't want to risk aggravating my foot and it's been hot.  DH took the dogs on the trail this am...I told him never again....they're too old to go in this heat. It's 97!

Oh. My. Word.  It is unbearably hot here in the Bay and we don't have air conditioning.  Went to the grocery store early and now I am doing as little as possible.  Hope you all are enjoying your Sunday!

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Happy Monday Morning, It rained all day long yesterday, quit about sunset, (go figure) and now it's partly cloudy with dark clouds approaching so more rain is in the forcaste.  I really need to cut my grass but it never dries out!  Judy we are only 50 this morning, it's srange weather isn't it?   We only have a small window AC unit in our house and frankly when it's hot it really doesn't do much.  Stay cool if you can!

I'll be doing PIlates and Bodyblade today, will walk if I can

I can't believe we are getting close to the end of June can you?   I think our Spring has been cold and very wet, not many days above 70 here but you can't change it so make the best of it I guess.

Be well everyone!

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Good morning, all.  Yesterday was beautiful but I didn't leave the house.  Back door was open and windows were open for a nice breeze.  Low humidity.  This morning, I feel the humidity already.  Nice while it lasted, lol.

Cardio and strength training this morning.  Have a good day everybody!
