Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Happy Sunday Funday!  Although it's been raining here all day again...just quit about 5 minutes ago.   I didn't workout, took a off day.  Went and got some patio pavers and a few other things.  Other than that I made wedding soup .   Good day for soup.  Not hot here, we had to give the furnace a shot.  65 inside and we were cold.  Outside 55, pretty chilly.

Nomless glad you like the new machines, I know I would!

Judy wine country, sounds great.  Samples??  Smiley Happy

Laura If you don't like Pound then it's time to try something else. Maybe in the Fall try it again.  You like to be outside anyways...I love outside, haven't had too much of it lately with all the rain we've been getting.

My Tigers Swept the Sox!  Woo hoooooooooooo

I may have found a dress for the wedding.  I ordered 1 to see how the fit will be because the actual color I want isn't available until end of July so I thought I"ll order a different color and send it back.  That way I"ll know what size to get and I'll also secure the color so when it becomes available in July I"l have it secured.

Made rhubarb bread also yesterday, kitchen had that cozy cinnamon smell!  That with a hot cup of coffee on a rainy day............  NICE!

Have a great rest of your Sunday!

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Good morning!

Did a 30 minute PiYo workout this morning.  Really had to fight the urge to stay in bed but got up and pushed myself.  Always feel better when I do that.  Felt like I had slayed the dragon, so to speak, and got up and exercised!  LOL  Anyone else ever feel that way when they fight the urge to stay in bed but get up and work out?  That sense of "I did it!  I got up!  I slayed the "lazy, stay in bed" dragon.  LOL

Hope everyone enjoys their day!

@bopper  Rhubarb bread?  I have never heard of this but cinnamon sounds good.  Glad to hear the dress search may be over for you.  Smiley Happy

@JudyL  Good for you. I've been struggling lately for other reasons but I'm glad you and I are staying committed.  Applause!!

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Good job, Judy and Laura, getting in a workout early in the morning. I'm not alert enough in morning to do that.  But I had a good day, too - while I'm out of a job, I should put my free time to good use, so I did two workouts today. One in the morning, one this afternoon.  I think I'll try hard to double up.

Bopper, how are things going in your world?  Can you post a picture of the dress you found?  Or a link to it?

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Hey all, another rainy fall like day here.  Really did feel like October here, 50 and cold wind, clouds, rain..Tomorrow high of 48.........seriously?

I did day 3 of level 2 of the Shred, it is harder than level 1.  Lots of plank variations and my arms get fried holding myself up...but I did it.

Yes I get that feeling a lot Judy and Laura, I don't feel like doing it and then make myself...you have to or you would never do it.

Nomless I kind of want the dress a surprise for now...but I may not even keep it.  Have to see how it fits and if I like it I"ll order the color I want and it would ship the end of July.

Keep going everyone!

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

@bopper  Good for you!  I started to do some different exercises with my Bodygym last night.  I feel like I need a workout change.  You're inspiring me to pull out my old DVDs and see what I got.  I think I have a shred one from back in the day.

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Morning, or almost noon here on the East coast!   I did another day kids.  Day 3 of Level 2 in the books.   This is hard, it's not long but it's hard.  My endurance is better but I am never sore from it..I hope in level 2 and 3 I start to see changes in my body.  I haven't seen any yet but I will NOT quit.  I am not a quitter!   I'm a do-er, and this I will DO!

Laura I haven't been using my BG, but I could be and probably should do some in the afternoon.  I have been adding in lots of walking with this dvd program also.  Yesterday and today though it's raining, not that I couldn't use the treadmill ( see I"m trying to make excuses for myself) as why I am not walking on rainy days!  LOL   I could be!!!

It's cold too 48, and feels like we are in October!

I think its time for some soup for lunch, love me some homemade soup!   Somebody said they hadn't heard of Rhubarb bread.  It's very good.   I just googled and found it.  I have some left over so will make some crisp with the rest.

Have a great day everyone!
