Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Hi Bopper!  Came home tonight, decided to try turning on my computer before calling Dell and VOILA, it turned on and all seems well.  Have no idea what happened but I'm grateful it's up and running.

Hope everyone has a good evening!

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Happy Wednesday!  I will be Bodygyming tonight and then dragging myself back to the gym first thing tomorrow for Ride.  Or I may possibly think about Pound tonight.  They have a new class at 7:30pm which I might (probably not) think about going to instead of my normal Friday run.

@JudyL  I can't wait to hear what you think about NYC.  It sounds like you and your daughter picked opposite ends of the city but I think most of the enjoyment of NYC is just being there.  I have not been able to bring myself to visit the 9-11 memorial yet but it's in the same area as Wall Street and Battery Park so if you want to walk a few blocks, you can see the bull and take a glimpse out at Lady Liberty and Ellis Island even if you don't hop the ferry over.  And if you and your daughter are chocolate fans at all, when you hit Times Square, M&M's and Hersheys are across from each other. Enjoy the sugar rush!

Hope everyone is having a good week and better weather.  We are still steaming at 90 plus down here.  Got my water!  Smiley Surprised

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Hi all and its JUNE!   Yikes it's going by way too fast!

CANDLEQUEEN Hello and welcome aboard!   I love to walk, try and do it at least 5 times a week ....nice that your hubby goes with too!   It's quite cool here 60 but lately lots of rain.

The talk of everyones trips is cool.  I live through all of you as we don't ever go anywhere...It's rare for us to even go on a weekend but sometimes we do.  I"m not much of a traveler.  Seems we get somewhere and I can't wait to go home again.

I'm doing Shred again today.   I have a hair appt. at 1 so will do it when I get back.  I got all my groceries and a BD gift for my gf so that's done.

Laura I do struggle with the pushups but thank you for the encouragment.

Nomless ANW tonight, I"ll watch it too!

Judy glad the computer issue was nothing major.  Mine was super weird too.  Took it in and they couldn't find a thing wrong with it ( of course) like when you take your car in and it works fine for the mechanic!

Our week is going to stay cool and quite rainy, like ya'all had earlier in May.  Texas is really getting the rain.

Well better get some lunch going here, have a great day everyone!

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Hi ladies! I have been missing but have been staying active.  I spent most of the Memorial Day weekend putting in my vegetable garden and some hummingbird plants. "The family" is back and middle of last week I noticed one leave the feeder and head to the kitchen garden plot, but nothing was out for him to sample. So I stopped at the nursery and got some perennials and hummingbird attracting annuals. They have been going to the flats to sample even before I got the plants in.

Thankfully my MIrabai Holland level 1 DVDs arrived before I began gardening. The flexibility one in particular is helping my bad back recover after gardening.

Warm hellos to all! Smiley Happy

Hi, CandleQueen, nice to meet you.

Judy and Laura, it's fun to read about your planning for trips.

Pilates, enjoy the hummingbirds.  I'm glad they like the plants you got.

Hi, Bopper.  I'm watching ANW!!  😊

I was busy all day today, all over town doing stuff. I intended to do a workout, but I ran out of time.  That doesn't count, does it?

Nomless - it sounds like you had a busy day running around town so I'm going to say YES!, it does count towards a work out.  After all, running around town doing errands and all the little stuff we do, is hard work!

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Ride class this morning and BG last night.

@PilatesLover  I love birds!  Mine are currently being hogs around the feeder.  No hummingbirds though.  Just the bluejays, cards and other flying creatures and one very frustrated squirrel and a happy cleanup chipmunk.

@nomless  Absolutely!  I walked all over the mall before I went hiking on Monday.  It all counts!

@bopper I am still in awe of your shred program.  My family supposedly left today until the 14th so I plan to get my butt in gear next to yours.    Smiley Very Happy

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Hi all, I didn't get a workout in today.  My 88 year old dad had hernia surgery today so that tied me up all day because after he was done and it was out patient, we went back to his house and I stayed with him.  He can't be alone for 1 day, tonight my other sister is staying with him.  It all went well though, so tonight I will sleep much better.

I saw a new Jari Love dvd coming out I am interested.  I have to get back on collagevideo.com again and check out some clips.   I am finishing the Shred though.  I missed yesterday and today.  Very unlikely for me but sometimes things just get in the way.  I'll do it tomorrow and start level 2 soon.

I love birds too, have many feeders and a heated bird bath.  The thing I don't like is so many red squirrels and they always find a way to my feeders even with baffles on my poles.

Dinner time, hubby just drove up.

Have a good night!
