Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Aw, Bopper,I'm sorry your dad had surgery.  Good news that it went OK and that he's back home.  I hope his recovery goes well.  Prayers for him.  Thanks for the info about the Jari Love DVD.  I go over to Collage infrequently. I don't like the new site as well as the old one.

Another busy day today, and I missed my workout.  Tomkrrow should be better, I'll try to do a long workout.

Laura, it sounds liecyoi'\re ok with family being away and getting some alone time.

Hi Judy and Pilates.  Have a good day.

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Bopper - hope your dad is doing better today.  Glad that his surgery went well.

This morning my hip/back was feeling prety good.  The last couple of days I've been really good about doing the stretches the doctor gave me.  Find an empty office here at work during the day and try and do a couple also.  But definitely do them morning and night.  Slept through the night last night without waking up because i was in pain.  YEA!

This morning I got up and did a 30 minute PiYo workout for the buns and a 10 minute quick ab workout.  I like doing the buns workout because I feel it stretches and works the hip, glutes, hamstrings, quads, etc., that I need to stretch and work.  Afterwards, my hip/back felt pretty darn good.

Better get ti work!  Hope everyone has a good day!

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Judy, I'm glad you're feeling better and that the stretches seem to be helping.  Good job with Piyo.

Hi, Laura, TGIF!  Enjoy your weekend.

Bopper, I hope your dad is doing OK today.   You've probably spent much of the day with him.

Cardio down today.  I watched the Cubs this afternoon.  In one inning, two doubles, two hit batters, two errors, and two walks ends up in a bunch of runs for the Cubs.  Bad inning for opposing team, that's for sure.

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Morning, it's raining here.  Yesterday was good though.  I got in good exercise, with shredding, walking and mowing the grass.

Thank you all for the prayers and concerning my dad. He is doing well thank you so much!

Nomless I don't like the new collage site as much either and dont' visit it often but I had seen a clip on the new Jari Love dvd and wanted to go over there to see it again.  It hasn't been released yet.

Judy glad your feeling better, my back is tight this morning...will have to wait a bit to losen it up before I workout.  Maybe the weather played a role in that...

Laura are you going walking or a pound class today...I wanted to bike but not this weekend by the sounds of the rain on the roof.

Well time for another cup of coffee!   It's that kind of day!

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Did a light workout this morning.  Probably could have and should have pushed myself a little bit more but oh well, at least I got some exercise in and everything still feels pretty good.

Today I'm driving up to the Wine Country to see a friend.  She's having people over for a BBQ and it looks like its going to be 90 or more  Ugh.  LOL  I am not a hot weather person.  I'll be finding the shade!

Hope everyone enjoys their Saturday!

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

@JudyL  Glad you're feeling better.  Enjoy your trip!

@nomless  I have a good friend who is a die hard Cubbie.  I really think that team is going all the way this year.  Lord knows my Phillies aren't so go Cubs!

@bopper  Glad to hear your father is doing well.  I went to Pound last night.  I think I'm done with it.  I don't enjoy it anymore and I hate the music.  If I can't groove, it's not fun.  It's still 90 here so I'm thinking I may go walking tomorrow when it's supposed to cool off to a big 86.  I am completely enjoying a real weekend with no aggravation so I'm a little slow getting started but I will get my hike in at some point.

Have a great Saturday everyone!

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Judy, have fun in wine country today.  What a great day.

Laura, I'm surprised to hear you're tired of Pound.  But you have other things you like. Lots of choices for you.

Hi, Bopper, I hope your dad is getting along ok. Happy weekend.

I did a long cardio session today and weights, too.  Good workout.  But I have no news, so will keep this short.

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Cardio and weights done.  Yesterday, I was way too light on the weights, so today I spent time today figuring out how heavy I should go on each of the machines.  The new machines are terrific.

Now I'm watching ANW All-Stars, the repeat airing.  It was on last Sunday evening, unbeknownst to me.  Am happy to be able to see it now.  Lots of our favorites are competing...the Weatherman, Brent Stevenson, and Kacey, of course.
