Re: Welcome to the July Exercise Thread

Hi, I walked 5 today and then went to dad's to clean for him.  I was so hot in his house, broke a bead or 2...

Nomless yes great bike and great workout, I am dripping when I"m done.  Resistence is great and it is so smooth pedaling.  Excellent purchase.  Has 5 star reviews too. I like that it folds up too so you can stick it in the closet if you want.  I've been leaving it out so I jump on here and there.

It's a warm night, still 80 outside.  Just watered my flowers and tomato's which are still green.

tomorrow have a wedding on the beach and reception at a log house on the beach.   They said super casual.   I guess that means don't dress up too much.  Not sure what I'll wear.  Maybe a maxi dress and flat sandals.  I hope they fogged for bugs!!

Re: Welcome to the July Exercise Thread

Hi, quiet here today.   I rode my X bike today and went downtown this morning to look in a few shops.   Then we had a wedding on the lake and the reception on the lake as well in a beautiful log home.

Tomorrow we are going to Art on the Rocks at the Harbor.  It's an annual thing with art, pottery and jewelry.   Its nice and i like to people watch.

Well since I"m following myself here I will say Good Night.

Hope to see more posts, our thread is getting mighty slim ( we're supposed to be the ones getting slim)  Hahaha

Hi, Bopper, enjoy the art show today.  Sounds fun.   Thanks for the feedback about the bike.  Glad you're enjoying it.

I did the bike this morning. Nothing else going on today...it's a nesting day for me.

Re: Welcome to the July Exercise Thread

Hi, I think we are all in the same place, not much going on and just keepin on.  I did a lot of walking today.  We went to the art show and walked a lot.   Then visited my dad for a while , came home and watched baseball and not much else.

It's very quiet here for quite some time .   I hope we can keep this going, please come visit us.

Re: Welcome to the July Exercise Thread

Good morning everyone.  We had a great visit with son and granddaughter,Ava.  Nonstop, though.  We all drove into the city for the sights and things to do.  So great being 20 minutes from Chicago, its a great city. Lakefront and museum campus so accessible. The best part was having son daughter and both granddaughters together. Enough of my babbling.

I walked Angie a mile just one day since Thurs. But have walked many miles this weekend. Going to have to get out my Gazelle because it's going to be humid and 90's this week. Walking outside isnt an option. I hope you all have a great week ahead.

Re: Welcome to the July Exercise Thread

Skylark, so glad you had a good time with family.   You're a Chicago girl!  I grew up 20 miles west of the city.  I haven't lived there in a long time, but nonethelsss, Chicago will always be home to me.  I miss the museums and all that Chicago has to offer.

Cater, thanks for thinking about me.   I do have a line on a job, but nothing is formalized yet.  I hope it works out.

Hi, Bopper, have a great day.  You, too, Patty.

I have an appt. in a little while so will have to do my workout later today.  It's hot and humid here, too....I guess it is every where, right?

More later, maybe.

Re: Welcome to the July Exercise Thread

Hi all, I think we are all hot and humid.  90 here today and tomorrow.  I'll try and remember that in 4 months!

Skylark you must know snow as well being in Chicago.  I'm way up North, UP of Michigan and we seem to have winter from October through Mid May sometimes.  I'll think of that today and maybe I won't be so hot!  So fun spending time with your family and grandaughter.  My GD is almost 10, so hard to believe she is a little lady now.  I miss the cuddling and the story times.

I did my X bike today alternating with  abs and triceps, biceps and leg raises.  Just trying to do my own circuit.

Nomless I hope you hear about the job, praying for you always that you will find something.   Stay cool today if you can!

Cater we really could use the rain, we're getting very dry.  Nice to see you.

Patty waving to you and Lucy, stay in the AC if you can.  Maybe you and Lucy can go to the beach and take a dip!   Well you maybe Hahah....

Tony did you watch the race, Kyle wins again.....

Okay lunch time.  Enjoy the day and stay cool!

Re: Welcome to the July Exercise Thread

Hi, it's me following me.......... so I"ll make it short and sweet.    It was hot and muggy again so I rode the X bike and did the Total Gym....then had a hair appt so got that done and it was very needed.   Came back and did a little more on the bike and walked Logan a short ways.   Too hot for him, so don't want to take him very far but he sure loves to run.

A cold front is supposed to move in tonight into tomorrow with a chance for thunderstorms, I sure hope it cools off.

Have a good rest of the day!

Re: Welcome to the July Exercise Thread

Hi, everyone.  It's terribly hoypt and humid, oppressive.  I couldn't sleep last night, so my workout was an easy 30 minutes but at least I showed up.   I need to start pushing it harder as well as eating better.  Worry makes me indulge in things I shouldn't.

So far, so good about the job.  I go in next week to meet a couple of other people.   Meanwhile, carrying on with health insurance details.  So much paper work!  Ugh.
