Re: Welcome to the February Exercise Check In

FUTURE! I hear ya on the allergies!{#emotions_dlg.thumbdown} I don't have any desire to go out on V-Day...I'd rather eat a pj&j at home in my jammies.Wink

nomless, ITA about the towels...lol! Most people like thick, plush towels and I can't stand them. I have to have thinner towels that actually dry me off. Ha...my gf's say the same thing to me about what time I get up...but my body doesn't move that fast right away, takes a lot longer to wake-up these days or I'd get injured.

Tony...ugh...you guys are getting hammered! I see another one coming.

bopper....where are you?Wink

I ate 2 lemon cookies and a S'mores bar for breakfast...it may be my new diet.{#emotions_dlg.w00t} I think it gave me a buzz and I didn't even think about food again until after 1pm. I ended up doing more miles than I planned on and did some weights. Who knows...I may be onto something.Wink

Re: Welcome to the February Exercise Check In

Hi everyone, we are under a blizzard warning!!!!!!!!!!!! Nooooooooooooooooo I am so done with winter..........it's already snowing...the warning is from tonight through tomorrow. The sled dog races are tonight also and they go through the weekend and they will run right thought this blizzard. I do think they now are equipped with GPS so they don't get lost because snow, wind, the trail can become, well not a trail anymore..It's to bad because our town looks so forward to attend the send off. The dogs are so excited and are so cute with their little booties on...they love to run and the cold doesn't bother them but the wind and low visibility will be a huge factor.

Pppmint hope you have a good day today and DH is better. So exciting about the new house for the kids...sorry you won't be able to go up this weekend but better safe than sorry with all the sickness going around.

Nomless hope your weekend is restful and nice for you...Did I tell you Rosalie from the TG is sending me 3 new dvd's that were samples of hers. I can't wait to get them. She sent them on Monday so maybe today or tomorrow...

FUTURE glad you posted...what a busy week you had. I was tired just reading it....no big VD plans here either...staying inside where we are safe and watching Hallmark movies.

Tony guess we are both getting belted with storms and snow...want to book a flight to Hawaii with me Hahaha...I am so ready for some warmer weather.

Well I need a shower and start my laundry...Happy Friday to all!

Re: Welcome to the February Exercise Check In

Bopper, stay warm during the blizzard. You and Tony have had a dreadful winter, to be sure. But just think, each day is one day closer to spring. I know your winters last a very long time, but still, you're one day closer to spring.

Patty, we're on the same page re: bath towels! I'll let you know if I find one that's perfect. I washed the two new ones I got, but I haven't tried them yet.

I'll do a resistance something tonight. I'm thinking it might be Tony's turn. Or Katami or Coffey-Meyer. Something.

TGIF! Have a great day, everyone.

Re: Welcome to the February Exercise Check In

nomless, I found some good ones at TJMaxx up in Fairfax. They're leopard print too.Wink

CF was terrible this afternoon(went to 3:30 class because we have bible-study Friday mornings)...my hardest one yet. I felt nauseous driving home and still don't feel right and we're meeting people for dinner at 6 so have to leave in 30 minutes...I can't even get up to get ready.

It was absolutely terrible for me, NINETY wall-balls...whyyyy?!{#emotions_dlg.glare}{#emotions_dlg.unsure} Then I got stuck in the row with TWO MEN for "warm-up" so of course I had to keep up with them which made me start the wod already worn-out. Honestly, if every day was like today...buh-bye...I'd be gone. I'm too old, I didn't enjoy it, and I don't feel good. There you have it...that's the mood I'm in right now...sorry to sound cranky but I'm not feeling it right now!

Anyway, I have to go get ready to go to dinner and pretend I don't feel like throwing-up.{#emotions_dlg.laugh} Last night was a fundraiser and I'm hoping my dinner tonight is better than last night's.

Stay warm and safe everyone!!

Re: Welcome to the February Exercise Check In

Hi, all. Did Pilates for about 30 minutes before work this am. Then completely negated it and then some with my dinner. We went to a Cajun place and it was awesome. I'd never been and hubby picked for date night tonight. Smiley Wink Did spin last night and it went really well. I had a good groove and it seemed to go by fast -- that's always nice! Lol!! Tmrw I have to take the dogs to the vet and drop them off before I WO, and then hubby and I might go see the Kingsmen sometime tmrw. I had a birthday gift to buy and I'm glad I went after work today, bc I'm sure things will be nuts tmrw with last minute shoppers. I'm glad I bought a card for hubby -- and remembered I already bought it! Lol! He's lucky he didn't end up with four or five cards the way my brain is working these days! I have a feeling I'm going to be trying to get lots of rest this weekend. I desperately need it. I can tell my body and mind and emotions are getting all "mushy"!!!! We've heard bad news about a few family members this week, so I've been in fits of tears numerous times. But both have such wonderful, strong attitudes, so that is comforting. And I know The Lord is watching out for them and directing each situation, so all will work out the way it should. Ok, I need to go hang out with hubby. Hope you all have a nice night! Sorry to unload on you.........,Smiley Wink

Re: Welcome to the February Exercise Check In

Nomless Happy Valentines Day to you and everyone else on here. Hope if you have someone special in your life you both do something for each other to have memories of today. And if your alone do something special just for you to have your memory even if it just a cup of hot chocolate or a drink or dessert of some kind. Probably should not say dessert on this place you working, climbing, riding, running ladies probably run past the desserts. Hope all is well with everyone. Here in Pa. we have wind blowing snow that is making constant white out conditions and it is freezing cold here. No sense going out to blow the driveways out it will just get blown back in. Enjoy the rest of your Valentines Day.

Re: Welcome to the February Exercise Check In

Happy V Day to all-- very stormy here, blizzard conditions, white out, highways are closed because you can't see. Hubby worked this morning but came home at noon and we have been inside ever since...Just age at home and are watching Hallmark movies...works for me!

Cater nice to see you and can say dessert haha...Sounds like your having the same type of weather we are having..

Pppmint I hope you are not too sore from yesterday and you could enjoy today.

Nomless stay warm..good job on your cardio workout today.

FUTURE nice to see you pop in. What a crazy week you have had.. We too are receiving some close family hard times right now. It really does put things in prospective doesn't it.

Tony are you buried too! It's this wind, it's terrible. We almost lost our power a couple times too.

Stay safe everyone!
