Good beautiful Sunday morning to all. I say beautiful even though there is some white stuff coming down from the sky. So far it's only coveting the grass and trees but melting as it hits the street. It's not bad but I think I'll stay in anyway.
I think we all have a little packrat in us @nomless. My downfall is not giving away enough of my clothes. I have clothes in small, medium and large. Numerical sizes 8 thru 12 with a few 14s in the mix. They are clothes that I like and just hate to get rid of thinking I'll get back in them at some point. Right now, I'm back into mediums and 10s. I did donate some very nice suits last year....big shoulder pads. I admit to still wearing some of my dated suits just because I like them a lot and refuse to be held back by somebody else's decision to call them out of style.
My husband is a packrat to almost being a hoarder. He's been retired for years and still holds on to materials from meetings and classes that he had. I have snuck a lot of his cassette tapes in the garbage as well as computer books and t-shirts with paint or holes in them. He hasn't missed anything yet but if I ask if he still needs such and such, he'll say yes.
I went to the birthday party of a friend who turned 75 last night and got some dancing in. That and my Zumba class earlier got me over 17,000 steps. There was another guest there wearing her Fit Bit, too. I didn't ask how many steps she had that day because she was in the middle of telling me a story. It seems that there was a contest with Fitbit recently and she came in 14th with over 27,000 steps! I just can't imagine anyone moving that much in one day. Having been around her in the past, I do know her to be a little hyper but....27,000 steps? Lol.
Even though a lovely dinner with birthday cake was eaten last night, I'm going to relax today and just accept the consequences.
I hope this snow stops before accumulation starts.

It's Sunday Funday! Unless of course your cleaning and doing laundry LOL... Like I've been doing. Making some brownies now, so house smells good and the Lions are winning so we're happy!
Nomless the craft fair was really nice. There were more people than I have ever seen there so the vendors must have done really well. It's also going on today. I didn't get anything but enjoyed walking around. It took us a long time to go through the whole thing but we weren't on any schedule so it was fine. I admire some of these peoples talent, especially the wood carvers and the beautiful tables they make. There is a lot of thing I wouldn't have use for but some very nice things too.
I think we are all pack rats at some point, afraid to throw out something for fear next week we'll need it. I did though refrain from the sheets nomless as I have 3 sets of the Malden Mills sheets and I love them, not to say I wouldn't love the Birkshire I know I would but I didn't need them. I have a small home too and not much storage area so am finally thinking along those lines before I get something.
Mmsfoxxie it is snowing here lightly too. Grass is starting to get a blanket on it...although for us not having any is very unusual but from what I hear this week that will all change. I really don't like driving on snow packed roads and ice. Especially for me to get anywhere I have to travel the highway. If we lived right in town that wouldn't bother me at all.
Yes that's a lot of steps but I know people who get those in daily like that too. My sister wears hers riding her horse. I told her they don't count because everytime the horse is running or cantering they register her steps. She still wears it and counts them Cheater LOL .
The Bizarres and concerts are starting here too. My dad and his friend went to the Messiah today. I'm loving the Hallmark movies, even my hubby watches them.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!

Foxxie, yes to keeping clothes that no longer fit. I have a drawer full of sweatshirts that are way to big, but I love them like old friends and can't bear to part with them. I'miss trying to take the leap and do so because I need more drawer space.
You had fun at the party and Zumba. Good job.
Yesterday, here, it snowed all day, mostly melting on contact with some accumulation on grass. Today, it's sunny and the remaining snow is melting. Watching the flakes come down yesterday was so peaceful.

Hi all, I woke up to a winter wonderland, trees were covered in snow, the skies were blue and it was gorgeous outside. I walked over 3 miles in the sub division. Had to wear my Yaktrax though as it was pretty icy ( black ice) they aren't what they are cracked up to be either. My Get a Grips would have been better. On the snow over the ice they are fine but on the black ice my feet slid all over. Just got back from doing the trail twice with Logan. He eats the snow and lays in it, all in his glory!
Nomless isn't it pretty, especially when you don't have to go anywhere. We watched football and I made brownies for my husband and my son.
Still blue skies, thank the Lord for that! It's been a long time.
Have a wonderful day!

Hello Everyone. I hope all is well.
Yesterday when the snow started, I had hopes that there would be little accumulation since that's what the weatherman said. I called our landscaper who also does our snow removal to say that he didn't have to come, that I would shovel it since not much was expected. (My husband wasn't home but he just had surgery a couple of months ago and can't do heavy lifting or shoveling for at least six months).
Well, I waited and waited for it to stop while it was coming down heavier. Finally, I went out with my shovel and got busy doing the driveway. It wasn't heavy snow and it wasn't very cold out luckily. In fact, I started sweating, lol. Got the job done and put down salt. I felt very proud that I had saved us $25 and gotten some unexpected exercise to boot.

Bopper, fresh snow with a clear blue sky is a wonder to behold. Glad you and Logan enjoyed it.
I have nothing to report. My new too-big shoes seem to be working well at work. No heel pain or toe cramping. Even the callus feels better. I hope it will heal itself, but I suppose it will take awhile.
Sorry this is so short but I have nothing of interest to discuss. I hope you all have a good day.

Hello, I went grocery shopping today instead of tomorrow. We will be under a Winter storm watch, ( which always turns into a warning) so I went today on dry roads and it's 40. The Arctic air mass is coming and going quite a bit South from what I am hearing. We are supposed to get in excess of a foot of snow and white out conditions. Getting the snow shoes ready to go! I've been wrapping gifts today, almost done. I'm glad we draw names, it's way to expensive otherwise.
Nomless glad the shoes are working, that's a huge deal when your on your feet as much as you are. I have not much news either so don't feel bad, I"m just glad you were visiting. I have a pork tenderloin in the oven and made a salad and a baked potato so that's our supper tonight. Will watch the Voice and relax after I clean up the kitchen.
Have a good night everyone!

Hi, everyone. Happy Thursday.
Bopper, you were smart to go to the store yesterday. Logan will enjoy the snow you're getting today even if you don't. Stay warm.
Yesterday I got a battery for my pedometer and will wear it at work today. I hope it works to count my steps. I think it will....I did some walking here in my apartment, counting my steps; the pedometer matched my count. I bet the number of steps I walk at work will be will be less than I expect and hope for.
I decided to take a chance on the TSV Cuddl Duds. My issue is that I'm a different size on top and bottom, so sets usually don't work for me. I do better with separates so I can customize the top and bottom sizes. But I like Cuddl Duds so I decided to take a chance. I hope it works.
It's cold here, but sunny, so no complaint from me. Any day without snow is a good day.

Morning, nomless we are cold and windy and it is snowing. But so far only a couple inches. I am glad though I already went to the store, our school are closed I think because of the anticipated weather coming because right now I don't understand why they are closed, it isn't all that bad outside.
I hope you like the Cuddle duds, I always go up in size on PJ's so they are comfortable, did you size up? I like them, think they look so comfy. Let me know how they are and if they are hot.
You pedometer is probably pretty accurate, it seems we always think we're getting more steps in than we actually are.
Enjoy your sunshine!

I did grocery shopping yesterday, too, in anticipation of the colder weather today. I did it early in the morning and went straight to my fitness center afterwards. That's one good thing about winter if it's not below zero, you can keep cold things cold in the car.
Tuesday, I did double duty at the center because I wanted to do the line dancing and that's in the evening at 6pm. I went around 4 pm because I hate driving at night. I figured I could get a couple of miles of walking done. The track is on the second floor and the way the center is laid out, there is a large gym on the first floor that you can look down on as you do your laps around it. Well, unbeknownst to me, every Tuesday now is a basketball game with the college kids from down the street. They were there early to practice. Ladies, I cannot tell you how loud their music (if you can call it that) was! Ohhh, I could not stand it. I walked an unbearable mile, then went downstairs to play with my iPad til line dancing started. But line dancing was fun.
My husband still hasn't brought the tree up from the basement. I keep forgetting to remind him. I can't make up my mind as to whether I care. It's always in the back of my mind that it might be my last opportunity to do it. Morbid thoughts, I know.
Take care ladies.
