I've seen that goofy rodeo thing, Laura. It looks like it might be fun to ride, but I doubt it has fitness befits. I made me laugh, too.
My food cupboard is cleaned out and organized, achieved because a lot of things were way past "best by" date...like years past the date, lol. So now that things are organized, I'll try to be judicious about what I buy and will take more care to use what I buy.
Frig and freezer need attention next. It will take some planning to use things up.

nomles...haha....my dh did too(got riled up over the dives)! I know exactly which two you're referring to. Yes, I read that about the cyclist too...I sure hope she heals quickly and it isn't as bad as it seems. Did you see/hear the story of Simone Biles?? Here's part of it in case some haven't....
"Biles and her siblings were born into a fatherless, drug-abusing family and eventually placed in foster care. Biles was born in Columbus, Ohio, in 1997 to drug-addicted parents who struggled to care for their children. Biles and her three siblings were shuffled back and forth between their mother’s house and a foster home. (Biles’s father had abandoned her mother and was never present in his daughter’s life.)
When I asked her what memories she has from those days, Biles recalled that one of the foster homes had a trampoline that she and her siblings weren’t allowed to play on.
Her upbringing was chaotic. Biles bounced back and forth between state and foster care until she was six years old. In 2001, her grandparents, Ron and Nellie Biles, officially adopted Simone and her sister and moved them to Spring, Texas."
I cleand my pantry last week! There must be something in the air. Of course we've only lived here 4 months so it isn't like it was a real difficult task for me.
I did upper this morning alternating my Pilates and my weight bar....and a few pull-ups. I also whaled my knee while bringing my bike back into the garage. I mean I saw stars and couldn't move it for 5 minutes. It's swollen and I'm hoping it isn't going to sideline me for a while but at this point, I'm not so sure about that. Just going to rest it today and see how it goes.
Well...this is plenty long...wavig to everyone.

I can't leave without giving elated a shout-out though....almost forgot! Way to go!!! I can't lose 5! LOL!
Speakig of which, I want to try and taper off the Prednisone so I went down in dosage yesterday(they said one day down, regular next, down next, etc.) and wasn't near as hungry....went back up today and I'm starving. So tired of it!!!!
Then my ds sent me a text saying he has a GI appt with his doc and didn't tell me why! Now I'm worried something is wrong. I tried texting him and he hasn't replied because he's at work...I'm sure he set-up his doc appt and texted me on his lunchbreak. But now I have that anxious, stressed feeling that I'm so darn tired of having!!! So here I sit with my bum knee and anxious stomach...uuggghhhh!!!
Okay, I'm really done this time.

@MickD Just curious if you got your hot water back or if you are still passed out from the whole wine experience? Just signal with a straw if you have to. ![]()

Hi everyone! Ran 2.5 miles on the treadmill.
@Laura14 - no hot water. DH called the plumber and was told that they were waiting on the hot water heater, and that it would be in on Thursday. He b@tched and it was changed to Wednesday. He left a message with first American insurance yesterday and complained about the slow contracted service of the plumber, but no response. I am so livid that I will not be around when the plumber is here....I'll just swear like a truck driver...not constructive at all but we've been without hot water for 8 days. Not to mention that we have water damage around the water heater/into the walls....

@Laura14 - hahaha! I'll take them!!!! It's just insane. Our contractor could've had this fixed last week, but the insurance has their own contractors.......gurrr......I'm about ready to go to the community pool and use their hot shower.....never leave!!!!

@MickD Find out where your local insurance company's office is and start washing up in the employee bathroom. Come out with your legs half shaven to ask for some coffee and lunch, don't be neat about it and I guarantee you'll have your repairman by 5pm.

@Laura14 - OMG!!! ROTFLMAO!!!!!! That would be priceless! You are too funny!

@Iluvlucy, I hope DS is ok.
About those dives...I'm glad.guts noticed the scoring weirdness, too. I'm so glad it didn't matter, in the end.
Yes, I heard the story about Biles background. It's great that her grandparents stepped up. Too bad they had to do it.
@MickD, it's awful you're still dealing with the hot water problem. No way it should take so long.
Until yesterday, I had worked out 12 days in a row. I took yesterday off, went back at it today. Oh, my, it was so much easier today, provimgvtje yes, we need to rest, too.
