Just got home and it looks great! No pain at all because she used some awesome lidocaine. It's starting to hurt a little because the lidocaine is wearing off but this is a game changer for me. I have a touch up in 6 weeks and then should be good for more than a year

Happy Sunday funday everyone, well we were almost 70 yesterday and its snowing now. Hahah that's how we roll here. Really have nothing planned for today, don't have anywhere we have to go and not to pleasant outside, it's mixing rain/snow. The green houses are open, we normally don't get plants until almost end of May as we get frost up until then. I may start some from seeds, but if I do I better get a move on.
Dr.Kelli are you ready for the week? I bet the zumba classes are fun and everyone has a good time.
Lucy have a good time this week, hope you like the house your looking at and find nothing seriously wrong with it. Funny it came up for sale when you were just thinking you wished it would.
MickD are you still scrubbing tile? What have you been using to get that grout clean?
foxxie are you rockin and rollin today?
Nomless hope you have a good Sunday and do something you enjoy doing, have fun!
Well think I"ll eat something, hubby is still sleeping. I kind of like being the only one up. Watching a church service on TV now.
Later kids.

Bopper, I hope the snow is short-lived. Enjoy your day.
DrKelli, yay that the microblading turned out well. So glad you love it.
Lucy, how awesome the house came up for sale. I hope you love it. It would be so much easier than building from scratch, so I hope it's just what you want. Good luck!
Hi, Foxxie and Mick. Have a great Sunday.
As for cleaning and purging....Goodness knows I need to do that, but I never do. Seems like when I do purge, the very next day I need something that I just threw out. For example, I have a couple of cupcake pans that I haven't used for years. But if I donated them today, for sure something would come up tomorrow that required use of cupcake pans, lol. So I never make much progress with purging.
Today, I'm making a trip to DSW. The shoes I've been wearing at work are too hot for summer. I need closed toe sandals of some kind. The sandals I have that feel good are BZees, and yesterday I looked online and found that DSW has a few BZees styles that might work. Also a Dr. Scholls and Bare Traps that I will try. I also spotted online some styles at Famous Footwear that are contenders. Will look there later in the week.
I should purge my shoes, too......have many I haven't worn in a long time.....sigh.

Good morning everyone. @bopper, you must live n the northeast. You're having a different season by the week, lol. Sandals to boots within a few days.
I hope the house is still up for sale @Iluvlucy but if I had the opportunity to have a house built, I'd grab it.
@nomless, I know you said you need a closed toe sandal but have you ever tried Algeria shoes? Very good for walking. I have about eight pairs from Maryjane style to their clogs and sandals. I can walk all day in them with no pain. The Q sells a few if you want to look.
My my main thing to do today is pull some weeds! Already they are trying to taking over. We have some burgundy rocks out there and unfortunately, the people that did our landscaping a few years ago did not put enough liner down so we still get weeds. My grass is just beautiful...except for a few dandelions that came up last week. Best believe I called TruGreen who had treated our grass a couple of weeks ago. Can't get what you pay for anymore.
By the way, my husband has lost about 15 lbs since his diabetes diagnosis. He's not eating enough veggies but he cut his treats to maybe one treat a week and not as much fried food. I'm so jealous of his weight loss that I can hardly stand it, lol. Men always lose quickly.
Enjoy your day!

Foxxie, yes, I have pair of Alegrias. One is sort of a fisherman stye, which is good for summer. These would be great for work, but I can't wear them now because they hurt my callus, and they're too tight if I add extra padding. 😞. For the time being, I need something much softer. Makes me sad because the support they have would be great for work.
Yay that your DH is doing so well!

Sigh. No luck finding shoes. I did find a pair that are oh, so comfy....and oh, so ugly, lol. Mary Jane style, which is fine, but if the strap with velcro fastener stretches at all, it will be too long to meet up with the velcro on the other side. Still wondering if I should take a chance on them . I don't really mind how they look, but the potential strap problem is a concern. Will sleep on it, see how I feel about it tomorrow.

Good morning, ladies. Well, I didn't get out to the yard, lol. I'm a morning person for the most part and it was in the upper 30s. My excuse and I'm sticking to it, lol. Actually, I think I'm taking retirement a little too seriously.
@nomless, refresh my memory.....did you get to a podiatrist and if so, what did he/she say. Can't it just be scraped off? Guess it's not that simple, huh. When I was working, I'd get a stubborn one one my left foot and it would hurt if I didn't pumice it at least every couple of days. Lasted even longer if I got a good pedicure. I walked a lot on a concrete floor before I retired. Funny but walking now on a track almost everyday hasn't seemed to aggravate it as much.
Monday...my favorite workout day. Walk, cardio class and then weight training. Have a nice day everyone!

Foxxie, my podiatrist appt is this afternoon, Yay. Am curious to see if he can help. Meanwhile, I think this morning I'll go back for the shoes I tried yesterday. Even if I end up using them only few months, better to have something comfortable, I guess. I tried my Alegrias again yesterday....still can'take wear them because they hurt. Will go to another store that has a good shoe selection, too.

Good morning everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend.
@nomless, I'm sorry you are having foot problems. I had bunion surgery about 5 years ago and the first 3 years after were miserable. I wear a narrow shoe and my foot stayed swollen for a long time, so none of my shoes fit that foot. It finally did get better though.
This weekend, I put together the set list for my zumba class and I will have to memorize 6 new routines. You need 12 songs for a 45 minute class. I have 3 already memorized, I put together a 4th one this weekend and I am using 2 from the instructor that teaches our Thursday class, so I just need a refresher on them. I will have that music on loop every day so I can go through the routines in my head!
Today is Quick Fit--a 30 minute boot camp type class and then I am at a conference for 3 days and back on Friday for strength training. I'm going to try to practice my Zumba class for exercise.
Hope you all have a great day and week!

DrKelli, have fun planning your Zumba numbers. Love your enthusiasm.
Good news re: my hunt for shoes. I went to a different DSW, and they had a different BZees Mary Jane style that I like. Only in black, though; not my favorite for summer, but if I use them for work, I don't care. Next I went to a dept store that has BZees on the website, but that doesn't mean they have them in the store. I was happy to find they did. They had another Mary Jane style, but only in a black floral print....black background with turquoise, orange, purple. That will look nicer for summer so I got them, too. I love BZees - they have good support, good arch support, stretchy uppers, and lightweight. They're even washable. Very happy to have found two pair that will be OK for work. Whew....solving the shoe problem was hard work! Both pair were on sale, too.
