I have always liked Wen products, but not loved them. Four years ago my very well-respected hair dresser told me many of her other clients were losing their hair from Wen and strongly suggested I stop using it. I didn't listen to her (why start now?😉) and now my hair is very thin! I always had tons of hair! I'm not sure I can prove a connection, but I am contacting QVC about returning my products. I've stocked up on some and others are just leftovers I have from switching to seasonals. I probably have over $500 worth of it. I wouldn't ask for the entire amount as most aren't full bottles, but I would greatly appreciate a show of good faith on their part as credit! BTW, does anyone know if the hair grows back eventually with use stoppage?

This sounds like a lawsuit to me.

In my case it did grow back.... it's extremely hard to prove that the thinning of hair is due to the product or not.  So many issues will cause thinning hair, age alone, heredity, medications, etc.... and I think that's why I think any kind of lawsuit will be iffy because SO MANY people love it and have not had any problems.

Sad to say that unfortunately, if you've opened and used (even once) the stock you have on hand, I doubt very much you'll be given a refund or credit.  JMHO... and not stating whether or not I personally feel you should/shouldn't.

I think you are probably right. Not sure it's even worth trying! Some pieces were part of sets, others... I contacted the Q when I got the notification about the FDA. I told them the truth, many were open and used, some weren't, and they gave me a person to contact for help. I haven't tried yet, may just write it off as "one of those things" and just get rid of it all. What a waste.😞

@Imadickens I haven't read through all of your posts, but if you are talking about not being able to use the Cleansing Conditioners, please know you don't have to just get rid of them.  Many of us love to use these as body cleansers, facial cleansers, hand soap, and shave cream.  How about repurposing them so it won't be such a waste?  HTH.  Smiley Happy

actually, I hadn't thought about that! I should use it to shave my legs! I wouldn't mind losing that hair!😬

Just kidding, just kidding! I will try to repurpose what I can! Thanks for the idea!👍

Years ago when Susan Lucci was on QVC with her hair product line (the originals in the black bottles), it was the best product I ever used.  When she switched to an "advanced" formula in the white bottles, I started to get dermatitis.  I was obviously allergic to something in the version, so I stopped using it.

It never occured to me to sue QVC or Susan Lucci because of this.

I just don't get this new culture we live in where everyone has to pay for an individual's lack of common sense.

I originally thought it had to do with the price point.  People resented paying so much money for it.  But people do this with $2 cups of coffee, so I don't think it's that.

I was so red and rashy i had to call off work

It happens.  Once bought Paul Mitchell from my salon.  I should have asked them to use it on me before I did.  Terrible for me, but there are large displays of that line in many salons, so lots of people must like what it does for them.

For those of us whose hair likes Wen, WEN is not really more expensive to use than most salon products -  and even some drugstore brands are getting close.

But  salon brands last 10x  longer  so in the long run you get more for your money.  A 32oz wen lasts me 3 weeks, a 32oz paul mitchell  will last me 3 months or more
