Hey y'all I'm really happy to see all the posts!!!
Today was a rest day for me and I made my dads BD cake, I did do a doggie walk and have almost 10,000 steps in. Yesterday I had 13,000
@amyb I'm glad you are still doing the reformer. I have a YouTube channel with a December challenge and if you wanted the November one on there too. Are you in Pilates Addicts on FB? You can find the challenge there too. They are mini challenges but gets you moving and accountable
We're in the lower 30's and I still walk outside every day. We do have snow now so I just head out with the proper gear and go.
@violet runner I have a Total Gym also. Just use it in the garage, you will make your own heat! Our basement is heated by wood but my workout room is cold but I heat up fast working on the TG, and using my free weights.
Getting dark already, sigh... wish it wasn't. But days are getting longer now...
Just wrapped some kids gifts so better get my dinner going. Didn't realize it was this late.

Good Morning. I think I picked up my niece's cold so I skipped to tomorrow's workout which was a short yoga for vertigo. Mainly breath work and stretching.
Off to another day of work. I really am living for the weekend at this point. I have not been sleeping well this week so I am going to try to take it easy and hope work isn't horrible.

Morning, all.
Yesterday, after my post, I ended up falling asleep therefore not getting in time to get to my workout. Gonna try to get out on time this morning. There are some nights I only sleep for about two or three hours and naps sneak up on me, lol. Cardio/weights is scheduled for today.

Morning all,
Well day 1 went well...ate healthy, logged food into FitnessPal and was within my calorie goals. And did good exercise. Ha. One day does not results get....so...
Rainy this morning, so no walk...going to do 30 minutes on bike and some reformer. Already did some Miranda Esmonde White's Classical stretch early a.m. to get the blood flowing and loosen up muscles that felt tight from yesterday's long walk and reformer moves. Really easy stuff usually, but getting "unrusty" right now.

ps. @bopper I do follow Pilates Addicts on FB...have not seen any ot their posts in many many months...like since last winter. FB always changing algorythms, ugggh, randomly picking who I see or don't see. I'll go to your page and check out the challeng videos etc, and I'll "like" and comment and then maybe you'll start showing up on my page again.

I'm so glad to see this thread is getting some traction!
I'm going to take a rest day today. My knee is a bit swollen, so I'm going to ice it and see if I can't get the swelling to go down before tomorrow. I'm sure it is from all the death spirals I'm doing. We used to only do tricks one day/week, but we've been doing them every time we dance our performance.
I don't really have much else--I have a bunch of busy work, so that's no fun.

Update: Just finished 30 minutes on my stationary bike...moderate speed, plus I added 2 lb wghts and did some arm exercises/intervals. 20 reps each move. That always makes me sweat and raises my heart rate on the bike, which I need, as I know my body is accustomed to it.
Then I went to YouTube and found the "No-bum-ber" challenge, 5 minutes on reformer for butt and legs, good one!
Now I'm off to other things to be done today~
I hope this "recharge" lasts....being accountable here helps, as well as variety of YT etc.
ps. I definitely have to regain my strength, have not done strength exercises for too many months and I certainly feel it, but back on it...

Happy Thursday!
Today was 30 minutes on the reformer with Jess P Fit, and it was good and challenging!! Burned 200 calories in the 30 minutes which I'm good with! Then did the Kaleigh Cohen Holiday Challenge and today was all Legs... Whew I was dripping sweat. Always trying to add more weights but I have to double up and it's cumbersome but I managed. Now I"m tidying up my house in case everyone wants to come in for BD cake. We're going at 4 today and we're driving 3 others so our car will be full.
@amyb so glad you found it. Now do the December upper body one with the Nobumber and you have a good mini workout. Just keep going to Pilates Addicts page and you'll see me there...
I'm having lunch now and sitting down for the first time today. Snow is falling as I sit and drink coffee and it's pretty.

Thurs. is my rest day...but I am going for a walk now...It's 70 out... WHAT!!!! Colorado desparately needs moisture. It's just wrong that it's this warm in Dec.
It's hard to give myself a rest day, but I have found it does me good in so many ways.
Have stopped feeling gulity about it.
BTW- the other day I did not get a flat tire.. I also didn't win the lottery..! HA!

I found an old dvd for restorative yoga--it's exactly what I wanted and it was stuck in one of my piles. There are several different 'sessions' so I did the 45 minute one and all the time I was thinking how much I missed it!!

I did the Gift of Relaxation yoga last night before bed. I've done nothing today so far so it may be a day off. Off to work. TGIF and maybe I'll do something later today. Enjoy your Friday.
