I know that this is an older thread, but this is a subject that is of importance to me. I will be having a physical in a few weeks so my doctor had me do some pre visit blood work.  With my medical provider you can view your test results online, so I understood several days ago, that my doctor would be contacting me soon and I received the phone call from the nurse yesterday. I have to admit that I was overwhelmed to look at my prescriptions online and see all of the items that I need to get. She also does not like my cholesterol numbers.Ugghhh..

 

I will be picking up 7 items today, and only two of them are prescriptions but still. Very overwhelming. 

 

I appreciate the advice that has been given in this thread. I am sure when I speak with the pharmacist today, she will explain all of the testing equipment, and when I meet with my doctor in a few weeks she will be going over my results in more details.

 

I forgot to add that I hate needles, and I am not looking forward to the constant testing at all.
