Sonic Care....Or Oral B?
I have used a sonicare for YEARS.....should I try the Oral B with the the spin brush as well? Is it as good as how the commercial on TV says it is?

we have both and alternate, just like with toothpaste.

Just like @Mary Bailey I have both. Neither owe me anything. I think alternating cleans best.

I have several different toothbrushes. My dentist even gave me one of those expensive electronic one's. He said 2 Thanksgivings ago I brought in the most canned items for charity, thereby getting the free fancy toothbrush thingy.
I hate all electronic toothbrushes. I prefer to use my hand. Just me, I guess.
Anyway, this brings me to my complaint. Why in the name of Heaven do regular just plain old toothbrushes cost so much money? I mean, it's just some plastic holding plastic bristles.....right?
That's a big complaint (gripe) of mine....along with razor blades, but that's for another time.....
It seems like every year I end up donating to Goodwill some kind of (still in box .... unused toothbrush, electric thingy).....

Love Oral B. It is what my dental surgeon recommended and my own dentist noticed the results right away. Especially good if you are a ‘scrubber’ like I was. LM

I think Sonicare is most recommend now, it used to be Oral B. I’ve had both and I’m still using my Oral B.

I used an Oral B for years. Just bought a Sonicare Diamond Clean when they had them for around $100 during Amazon Prime.
I think both clean teeth just as well. The handle on my Oral B 8000 is bigger then the handle on the Sonicare so the Sonicare is easier to hold but the Oral B has some rubber on it which makes it not slip out of your hands like the Sonicare does.
I still use dental brushes when I eat something.
I also use a dental scaler with a magnifying mirror to remove plaque.
I have not been to the dentist again in several years even though we have Ins.
When my dentist retired I did not go for 10 yrs. I finally went for a cleaning. It did not take long. They asked if I could come in & show their patients how to keep their teeth clean. They could not believe I had not seen a dentist for 10 yrs.

I had a sonicare for years then for some reason switched to oralb. Then a couple years ago switched back when the battery gave up the ghost and I had a coupon.
Got to say the sonicare does a much better job on stains and whitening IMO.

I’ve owned both. I prefer Sonicare and it comes out on top in the comparison reviews I’ve read.
I recently purchased a Sonicare DiamondClean from Kohl’s (Black Friday deal) and like it. It came with different brush heads and replacements to last at least a year.
