No reaction whatsoever.

I recently got my first shot. No reaction except the usual sore arm but that doesn't count.

DH and I had both shots last year. I had no reaction. Dh had a sore arm for one day on 2nd shot, it was gone by morning.

I had Shingles 17 yrs ago ( fortunately a mild case: 4 days out of work because I couldn't wear a bra but after that I sprayed on Nu Skin and blisters went away within a week). As a result DH and I got the original shot and 2 years later the Shindrix series. I never want to go through that again !

I got the first shot in December 2019. I was scheduled for shot 2 on March 17, 2020.....the day the world began shutting down for Covid.
Time passed and I forgot about it and when I remembered it had been over a year! I asked if the long lapse of time rendered the first shot void and would I need to have the series begun again. They told me that it was fine and I could get shot 2 at any time without worry.
I still haven't got number 2, but feel that I kind of lucked out
because shot #1 had a $165.00 co-pay, and now Medicare covers the shots so I can get it without taking a
shot in the wallet!!
BTW...I remember my arm was sore---VERY sore, for about 2-3 days following the shot. It was more of a reaction than I experienced from any shot before.
It passed after a couple of days, and if a sore arm is all I need to worry about (vs. those horrible shingles!) I am fine with that.
I do plan to get shot 2 very soon.

Got my Shingrix shot in 2021, no reactions with either shots 1 & 2.

For some strange reason over the years, every time I have gotten a flu or whatever shot, I invariably get bumped or accidentally banged into on my sore arm.
I solved that problem by now getting any shots in my hip/cheek area. Not only is it not sore like my arm would be, I don't even remember getting it after I leave my doc's office. Perhaps less nerve endings in that part of my anatomy?

I got the series of two Shringx five years ago. I had just turned 60.
The first one was rough, as I experienced flu-like symptoms over the weekend. The second shot at the exact prescribed interval was not a problem at all.

I had both shingles shots, minor discomfort then I ended up having shingles. I was shocked when my doctor told me ! I had severe banging headaches and the rash on my neck but it was not as severe as the commercial shows. I am still glad I got the shots because I'm sure it would have been worse had I not had them

I guess I must be special. I had the first Shingrx shot last year and was sick as a dog for five days. Fever, headache, chills, body aches and I was so tired. I even called my PCP to make sure I wasn't having some sort of bizarre reaction. Apparently I was just having a very strong reaction. I was honestly afraid to get the second one. I did have the second one and the see effects were much milder and only lasted two days.
