Good luck with it, wildcat. I think you'll love it, but you have thirty days to decide. The blade is so much better than weights. I'm going to do it forever. 8)

Re: The Body Blade actually works...

Nice thread Taja! I have the body blade too and use it in rotation with my other equipment or tapes. I like to mix up my routines because I like to play fast music to keep a good pace as I rotate exercises. The body blade was pretty interesting because it did take me about a week to get my left hand (right hand dominant) to fully understand what was expected of it as I moved through the various positions lol. I must say....after a few days of using it in my rotation.... I noticed muscle aches where I had none before! I paused for a moment to think what I had been doing differently, and gave credit to that blade for working out new muscles and doing it effortlessly (after the week of training my left arm that is Smiley Happy I definitely like the ease of it too!

Thanks for the great review. I think I will start with the one from Wal-Mart.

Thanks! Smiley Happy I'm going to give it a serious effort. If it doesn't work for me, it sounds like my son will gladly take it. He uses it at school for his athletic workouts and was surprised when I told him I ordered it. Can't wait to try!

I'm impressed your son is using it at school. Someone must have looked into it for effectiveness before ordering for the students. That's a good thing....

I got the one from WalMart a couple of months ago. I've got to use it more faithfully though. I've used it several times. I wish it had come with a chart like the BodyBlade does. I know you can go to the site and download the chart but it prints out so small!

I saw that they had some exercises on you tube.

I'm tempted to get one now.

I have been using the body blade and cardio blades for over 15 years when it was recommended to me by my chiropractor since I have nerve damage in my arms and could not use heavier weights like I had all my life. A trainer I worked with put together a 45 minute routine using both body blades and cardio blades for me that I still do every other day. I am far more toned then when I worked out before using them. It has done wonders for core toning and strengthening while not having to work as hard as I previously had for core work.

I have the Body Blade. What is a Cardio Blade?

Re: The Body Blade actually works...

I have been using the Bodyblade in physical therapy for my shoulder. I asked my surgeon about using one at home. He said it was the best exercise for the shoulder. He said it works all of the muscles of the shoulder. I now have one and I'm using it at least twice a day. This is the only thing that doesn't hurt my shoulder when I am using it.

I have been watching the Bodyblade videos on Youtube.
