Then your lab work never showed antibodies to your thyroid? The diagnosis for Hashimoto's is not only multi-nodual thyroiditis but also the lab work is crucial to show the antibodies. Thankfully, your thyroid is not being destroyed with Hashimoto's.

 

Hashimoto's, though, is very treatable. I have had it for years. I think Type 1 diabetes was my risk factor.

Apparently the lab work was alright.  I got a copy of the tests and they showed I was within the normal range.

 

I am so sorry you have to deal with Hashimoto's @Trinity11  I am very glad it's treatable and you are doing OK with it.

I want to thank you all again, so very much.

 

After getting the final diagnosis, I came home and slept around the clock for three days, only getting up to eat and clean up.  It was so much to take in.
