I am a big tea drinker.  I drink it all day long.

I was distressed to read an article last week that most tea bags are made with plastic.  When you place plastic in hot or boiling water, the plastic breaks down and you injest the particles.

Injesting plastic is dangerous.  There are many reports on this.

Since reading about this, I stopped drinking tea.  I have a lot of different types in my pantry.

I think I am going to buy a tea ball and empty the contents of the tea bags into it and throw away the bags.

This makes me so angry that our government allows these dangerous food products in our country.  Most of Europe has outlawed this garbage.

I hope we get up to par and make sure our food is safe too.  Do you hear me, Bigelow Tea Co?

I find that the high end gourmet tea companies tend to use those nylon pyramid teabags.  I don't understand the reasoning for that!

I brought this up through an Adagio ad on FaceBook and asked why can't they use quality paper bags.  The responder tried to tell me their teabags don't contain plastics, but I don't believe it.

Oooh! That's my favorite! I like to float mandarin orange slices in it.

I also love Polish fruit teas, but it's hard to find them fresh. And most brands are 90 percent hibiscus.I love hibiscus teas, but I like more fruit in my fruit tea.

I recently discovered "Very Berry Citrus" from Positively Tea Company. It's a loose, organic fruit tea. It's a new favorite.

I drink Smooth move for obvious reasons.  Throat coat.      pepperminat when mild stomach upset.  Even give my dog a syringe of smooth move when she can't go or syringe of peppermint when she doesn't wamt her food.  Works everytime.  Also, Andrew Lessman green tea.

I’ve ordered lots of tea from different sites. I’ve recently discovered Full Leaf Tea Company. They have teas for different conditions. Of course it’s not a medical thing, just different blends to help with various problems. I’ve tried several & all have been good. The one for stomach problems is really good.

My local health food store carries several teas that are for " throat coat". I have a constant sinus mucus/drainage problem and have tried Zyrtec, Allegra, Mucinex, you name it,I've tried it and nothing helps.

So, I thought one of those teas might help me get rid of the constant "lump" in my throat. However, on the box there is a warning that states not to drink if you take blood pressure meds, which I do. So, I guess you have to be careful not to mix certain herbal teas with prescription meds.
