Tribana bananas may not share the same code as Chiquita and Dole.

The Tribana brand is icky though.

Re: Sticker codes on fruit decoded

I always assumed that the vegetables and fruit were grown by the fruit market in our area or by the stand that I in, don't just assume, most was not when I asked. I really haven't been back to one since I asked them. Keep that in mind, maybe it was just the one was at. But it pays to ask questions.

When a friend had her colonoscopy, a portion of one of those fruit stickers was clearly visible on the wall of her colon. Smiley Very Happy Be careful to peel them off.

Re: Sticker codes on fruit decoded

Stickers on soft flesh fruits such as nectarines drive me nuts.  Sometimes pulling the sticker off pulls part of the flesh.  Just a cranky post.  LOLSmiley MadSmiley Tongue

I used to live in an old farming town; I would head up to one favorite farmer who would pick the corn right off the stalk!  Nothing like it.

@Cakers3

Was the farmer certified organic?

Cool, if so.

@sidsmom  No.  This was back in the later 1970's and organic  farming was not a "thing" back then in my area.
