I swear everytime you read something or take something it will cause cancer. When I was little I had to drink milk, now you cant drink lots of milk when you are older. I take calcium pills, now you have to be careful as it can do something to your bones.

You have to watch what you put on your face, on your body, what you eat, drink, etc.

...which is why I bless it and eat everything. Of course I do this in moderation as I have no intention of buying new clothes.

I just read yesterday that if you drink even one diet coke or diet pepsi daily, your risk of heart attack goes up by 50%.   I think its a bunch of bolony.  Next month someone will say that drinking it is good for you.

I hope that is baloney because I drink diet soda at work.  Diet soda has been around for a long time and I have not seen or heard any hard evidence that catastrophic things will happen to me.  There are no warning labels on the bottles.  I remember very well that "they" used to say that fat will make you fat.  But it turns out that is not true - never was.

@Puppy Lips @blackhole99   I heard that soda pop news flash on the soda  as well....they said that they did not have good clinical data  as the subjects followed could have had illness and heart issues prior to the study done.  Basically a bad study.

Most testing isn’t even done on all, it makes me mad most tests are done on men. I avoid these articles they are so filled with conjecture.

@Zhills As a cancer survivor I take issue with your statement that "stress causes cancer."  My 10 year old granddaughter died from cancer and I'm 100% sure it wasn't caused by "stress."

I've yet to see any medical writings that support this.

If this is just your opinion, that's fine.

@MalteseMomma   What you heard is basically true.  You need to take your vitamins with food in order for them to be well absorbed.

Please indulge me.  I'm a big vitamin taker.

When it's mentioned "take with food" does it mean as you eat, you're taking the pills one at a time between bites, or does it mean you take the pills before you eat or after you eat?
