TMZ received and made public today the actual video from inside the elevator showing Ray Rice beating his wife to a pulp. The NFL has suspended Rice indefinitely.
Please don't chastise Rice's wife for not leaving him or pressing charges. She is the victim, doing what an unfortunate number of victims do.
She MARRIED him a few weeks later.
It's sad...she needs help to get out of that situation ASAP.

Watch the whole video, she hit him. they both need anger management and conflict resolution. No excuse for women to hit men either. Grow up and act like an adult in control of yourself. She is not leaving a millionaire, get real.
That video was available and Baltimore is just caving. This is public pressure, mob mentality. The time for outrage was before the sentencing in court and by the NFl. Now is it just CYA. Pathetic on all fronts.

He's saving his neck....I would like the League to hold Goodell responsible w/ this on some level. And yes, I'm sure Goodell knew about this video....it's not 'new' evidence.
Here is what was said about the video:
"We requested from law enforcement any and all information about the incident, including the video from inside the elevator,’’ NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said Monday morning. ‘‘That video was not made available to us and no one in our office has seen it until today.’’
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

She was a WOMAN...MUCH smaller than he is. She didn't punch him full on the head either.
I wonder what they were fighting about? Probably more bad behavior on his part.
There is NO EXCUSE EVER for a man to punch a woman in her head with his closed fist.

Justice is served. His two game suspension was an insult to all battered women.

Still no excuse for her either.
Bad behavior on his part??? Your evidence?
No excuse for a woman to not control herself just like there is no excuse for a man, period. bad behavior is bad behavior.

There is an excellent column in today's Baltimore Sun with the writer thanking TMZ for doing what no sports network would do - expose the seriousness of Rice's actions. If you can google it, read it. It's excellent.
Thank you burggirl, I will look that up.

In the 'OMG Ranking' of this whole thing, I would say what SHE did is more of a OMG moment. Weird on so many different levels. I'm slowly beginning to SMH w/ her, as well as him. The message she's sending to others is HUGE. Again, so weird on so many levels.
1A. Janay Palmer doesn't prosecute!
1B. Janay Palmer MARRIES her attacker!
1C. Ray Rice cold-punches Janay Palmer
