Hopefully that ends his professional career. And the Ravens and the NFL proclaim they did not see the "whole video" originally? I find that hard to believe beings every other media source saw what happened inside the elevator.
I am thinking they were hoping it would never become public, and, wallah, it did.
No place in any professional sport for those involved in what I view as domestic violence. Hey, she married him so she obviously is interested in staying with him or scared poop less of him and what he might do.
He should be in jail or maybe even prison.

Thank you for your clarification.

John - It reminded me of hockey fights...he REALLY swung at her...fist closed.

A lawyer was just on.
She said it goes beyond a domestic assault case to aggravated assault - which needs no victim to press charges.

That video was available and Baltimore is just caving. This is public pressure, mob mentality. The time for outrage was before the sentencing in court and by the NFl. Now is it just CYA. Pathetic on all fronts.
I absolutely and totally agree. It is MOB behavior and not THE mob. Where is the punishment for her having struck him first? Why do women get a pass when they hit a man but men don't? Come on, this is the sort of thing that throws all the gains made by women backwards, the "double standard"

But you can't try him twice, double jeopardy.

She appears to have shoved him with her arm...NOT punched him unconscious in the head.
Amazing that ALL the sports commentators and TV talkers disagree with you.

Well let's see what happens to the other Ray. Ray McDonald of the San Francisco 49er's. Arrested for domestic abuse against his pregnant fiancee. When the investigation is done, he may no longer be playing football either. Btw, he did play in Sundays game. Unfortunately this sort of thing is not limited to football. Baseball and basketball have had their share of domestic abuse problems too.

Then I wonder why he isn't facing heavier charges. From what I just saw, she really could have been horribly injured, even killed the way she struck her head. And the awful disrepectful way he dumps her out of the elevator. And this is the Mother of his child. I wonder what HIS mother thinks.

From what I saw he really hit her and it looked like she might have hit her head on a bar in the elevator on the way to the floor. I will say he had much better stability to throw a punch than those hockey players on skates and that slick surface.
Whatever he gets he deserves and whatever her reason for marrying this guy after this? All I can do is wish her luck in her future.
