I'll have to get my upper denture relined in a month and what I am wondering about is this: Is this a lengthy procedure that will require me to leave the denture at the dentist or can it be done while I am waiting in the dentist's chair? I'm hoping I won't have to leave it overnight as I don't like for anyone to see me without the denture. I am even uncomfortable with my dentist seeing me without it.
Also, I worry about what I will do if my denture breaks and I can't get to a dentist immediately. Is there a fix it kit one can buy for this purpose? I'm wondering if I should have my dentist make me a spare denture in case something happens.
