I'm sorry you fell AND broke your arm
I hope it's healed well.
I've fallen twice over the years, and then... DH collapsed on top of me when he was ill a few months ago. I was hurt from head to toe and had several wounds on my arm. Had to call 911, they ordered ambulances for us both. In the hospital for two days, had a concussion on top of it all and ended up in a walker for a couple of months. DH was not hurt in the fall since he fell on top of me, LOL.
I really worry now.
Geez, Noel, that's absolutely horrible!!!

Kohls used to sell a great one, I got two of them two years ago. Nice and long and excellent quality. I'll look it up on their site to see if they still have them.

@Noel7 Kohls no longer sells the tub mat I have. I knew I should have hoarded several.

I had little fishies that stuck on the shower floor. They worked well. My GD pulled them all off.
When I went to buy more, they no longer carried the sticky ones. They had some that were supposed to be attached with suction cups. They were no good, never stayed put.
I've had sticky ones that lasted years...until I removed them for a change of scenery in the shower.
I bet Amazon would have them. I often forget to check there for little things.

Oh dear! I'm sorry to hear about your struggles.
Yeah, he lucked out, didn't he? (ok, not funny) Hope you're doing ok.
It's been a few months for me and, let me tell ya, I've been hatin' life over this one. Never again! Of course, being the way my luck runs, it was my left arm. I'm totally left-handed except for scissors and if that weren't enough, my right had is a total idiot. Worthless except for as a 'helper hand'. If that weren't enough, I have hard-core arthritis on my right thumb AND trigger thumb.
For a couple of months I couldn't do much of anything - couldn't change my clothes, comb out my hair, take a shower, just pretty much anything. Even trying to eat was ridiculous so I just didn't eat much.
It was a pretty bad break, with the larger bone being broken clear in half and displaced. The other bone (forearm bones, btw) had a fracture all the way across it, but it wasn't broken apart.
Now, I'm doing much better. I can use my left hand as long as there isn't pressure or weight and can even type and write again as long as I keep it short with breaks between.
I don't think I could go through this again. I would rather have broken a leg, and I mean that! The doc said it w/b about a year before the left arm is up to par and I'm starting to believe that because it's just so weak. I hurt myself pretty much every day just trying to do minor things.
Anyway, enough whining.
Just don't break your arm, especially the one you use the most. It's not any fun at all.
I'm so careful now and try really hard not to forget to be super careful. Getting older doesn't help. hehe
Take care and I send you healing thoughts and good vibes.
I'm glad you're doing better, it sounds awful and so painful. I am left with a bad knee after that fall and a previous one where I tripped and went into a sharp sidewalk curb, knee first. DD says DH wasn't hurt in our double fall because he had a soft landing ![]()
