Hi Everyone,
I am trying to get back into taking a multi every day (for some reason I got out of the habit of doing so). I started a thread a while back and got lots of great recommendations on a good multi available at B&M stores. Well, I purchased and have been taking Centrum Specialist Complete Multivitamin. Went to the bathroom last week, and there it was, WHOLE, in the toilet. So gross, I know. And probably WAYYYYY TMI. But it got me to thinking: Why am I taking a vitamin that would just be found undigested in the toilet? I realize that many of these vitamins have that enteric coating that supposedly makes them easier to digest, but how is this helping me if I can see it WHOLE?
I was sort of shocked and confused. Weird thread, I know. But has anyone else had this happen? I have not continued taking it b/c of this. And I'm wondering--How do I know that my vitamins are being digested and "doing their job"???
TIA![]()
