@PixieStar Just wanted to say congratulations on your health success, and I hope it continues for you!

I started feeling good about 3 weeks after changing what I ate.
I agree with your decision to not respond in future!
I also agree with you on how transparent the Berrys have been on most if not all of the info out there about them.  Much of it IS true up to a certain degree, but of course that makes their story too boring, so people embellish things. 

(Opponents please do Google all the OTHER keto or carnivore doctors mentioned in this thread. Please go in search of any little bad nugget you can find...if you haven't already, then run back here and post, because it is SO helpful.)

 

@Susan Louise I continue to applaud your progress and determination to remain healthy!  I just spent 9 straight hours on my feet in the kitchen, preparing Thanksgiving dishes for my non-keto dad and siblings. We lost my mom last year (and she was ill for two difficult years) and this is the first time in a long time that we've wanted to have a get-together.  She always insisted on being the main cook, so these dishes are things I've never made before on my own. 

 

I have to admit I was surprised by how good I felt after such a long day of constant work. I was tired, but not too tired to also go do some grocery shopping. I'm back home now, and still, I have zero aches & pains. I could not have done a day like today 4 years ago before changing what I eat.
No way. 
Also, you know I am strict keto and not meat only, but probably 80-90% meat and eggs.. Today I was able to prepare sugary and grain-based dishes, things I avoid, and taste test each one as needed. I was not tempted AT ALL to eat more. I just don't need those things anymore.

@Tinkrbl44  I take Apple cider vinegar capsules every day because they are full of enzymes.  Sometimes it is touted as a weight loss aid.  I am not sure about that.  I don't need to lose weight and I haven't noticed any weight loss.
