I'll meet w/doc next Mon to get the ball rolling. Left eye first. I'm not nervous or worried. For a change. Been watching You Tube and listening to some of those doctors. Guess it could take up to 6 weeks, to mend/adjust. I'll need glasses no doubt and no problem once that is all done. The old grey mare, ain't what she use to be. ROFLOL.

Had both eyes done last year. Easy Peasy. Don't worry about a thing and wait until you experience better eyesight!
Here's lookin' at you, kid!

Agree, easy peasy, I had both done in 2023, didnt even have any anesthesia other than numbing drops in eyes, no glasses for me. Ask for compounded drops for after unless your doc does the dropless procedure, mine did not. You will be amazed as to how much your vision will improve
Several other threads here about cataracts.

Piece of cake.
I found the insurance breakdown to be a little weird for my Advantage Plan.
Get this ...
The doc appointments and both surgeries had a zero-dollar co-pay. Nothing, nada, zip.
HOWEVER ... my prescriptions are always also a zero-dollar copay ... but for this procedure, the eye drops were $130 !!!
Surgery, nothing. Eye drops, $130.
I never did get a satisfactory explanation for that one.

I worry about the restrictions- no bending and no lifting. I have cats to care for, litter boxes to change, etc.

You should be just fine, the next day I was seeing so much better and saw things were not as clean in my home as I had thought, I cleaned like crazy for the rest of the week, no problems.

I had it done in 2018. Went from 20/800 (yes that's correct. I was blind as a bat) to 20/15. I don't wear glasses anymore, not even readers. I had been wearing thick glasses since I was in high school. You will love the difference.

Had one eye done 3 weeks ago and have surgery on 2nd eye tomorrow.
Vision stabilizes in different time periods I believe the one I had done 3 weeks ago is stabilized will find out tomorrow.
Tip - if your eye is sensitive to light don't be afraid to wear sunglasses even inside. It takes a while to get used to the brightness.
