I've been taking Norvasc 5mg for many years (along with a couple of other BP meds)---only side effect I have is swelling of the ankles--my grandmother took Norvasc and also had swollen ankles. No cough. I think it's a good drug--it works.My hubby takes Lisinopril and it works, but he has a dry cough.
