@northiie57  Thank you!

Here's another: peppermint oil for headache. Stops my migraines in their tracks! But this is applied topically.

Some foods can help with some types of discomfort/symptoms.   When I went through chemo my oncologist suggested I drink green Matcha tea and use Turmeric in my daily diet.  Both were to help alleviate inflammation.

there are some natural things that work well for me--peppermint tea is good for a sour stomach and I have a herbal tea mix  I drink that soothes my aching guts during a bout of diverticulitis---ginger and pineapple and papaya are good for stomach stuff. Honey and lemon in hot water--with a shot of bourbonWoman Very Happyis good---for whatever ails you-- tonic water for restless legs---cranberries for kidney issues----

@LindaSal   Could you tell me how much Tumeric you use daily?

I will assume you use a powdered formula (like in a spice jar) ...that is the only way I have seen it in the grocery store.  ...you just sprinkle on the food?

@Mom2Dogs I use it mostly on my roasted veggies and surprisingly I really like how it tastes that way.  Generally I'd say about a teaspoon or two depending on the volume of the food. I find it can be a bit strong with some foods, I even tried a teaspoon in my coffee and while I am not a big fan I do still do it at times.   I buy organic Turmeric.

@LindaSal   Thank you...I have an issue with a shoulder and my husband has chronic hip pain/arthritis.  His doctor said he needs to wait 2 months for another shot...maybe the tumeric will help.

Sorry but when I get a migraine I want my prescription drugs.  No flowery, green or yellow food is going to ease that firestorm in my head.

Never heard of gut health? Microbiome?  Hmm... plenty of sources out there.  Start reading and see what you think.  You might have to be a little open minded.  I had a doctor tell me if a "food" has an ingredient list then it's not real food.

Some people I know add turmeric to their morning coffee.  I don't like coffee so I have no clue how that would taste.  I just want to throw that out there as an option.

Oh, my! Turmeric in coffee just sounds horrible! I just put a little turmeric in a teaspoon, add a little olive oil, then swallow it down with a drink of water. Works for me!😊😊
