Anyone use this?

Why couldn't you just take B3 instead?

@tends2dogs  Here is the thread. I am taking it. I am a bit concerned about the tie in to Cancer to this product. But, I want to read more into before quitting taking it.

Thanks @Shelbelle  and @SeaMaiden .

Do you understand what the difference is between this and just taking B3?  If I am understanding this correctly, B3 (niacin or niacinamide) eventually converts to this Niagen.

Am I totally off base?  I wouldn't be the first time LOL.

Niacinamide is a a specific form of B3 but not the same as regular B3.

I know a 70 yr old man who has been taking Niagen for years and looks 50.

I started taking a different brand 3 weeks ago but it takes a while to notice the impact.

From Life Extension - their formula plus resveratrol.  Take a look at David Sinclair's research and his protocol.

NIAGEN® nicotinamide riboside increases your levels of NAD+, an enzyme critical to healthy cellular energy production. Resveratrol promotes a variety of health and longevity mechanisms; quercetin supports heart and immune health; and fisetin encourages your body to clear senescent cells. This formula combines highly bioavailable forms of all four of these nutrients, creating an unrivaled supplement for energy, vitality and defense against cellular aging.

IMO, it's too expensive.  This is what we take for our NAD supplement. I have it on subscription through "A"

Thanks for bringing this to my attention.  Giving it a try.  Placed an order on Amazon.
