I'm hoping that the bye week is a negative factor for the Broncos, that Manning will be a bit rusty. If the Colts can get off to a good start, and if the o-line plays as well as they did last week, they have a chance to win. They cannot afford to make mistakes and give Manning any gifts. I'm also a bit concerned about Anderson; can they stop him? Getting pressure on Manning, and keeping the ball away from him would work.
The Baltimore-New England game should be good. The Ravens have enough talent to pull out a win.
The upset of the weekend would be Carolina beating Seattle. I don't see that happening.
I have no idea what to expect between Dallas and Green Bay. That game is a toss-up and could go either way.

I'm in the Green Bay TV market and every station is finding some way to tie this game to the original Ice Bowl. They'll find someone who was thirteen at the time and climbed over the fence to watch the game to interview. Although this week has been incredibly cold, it looks like it will warm up and be about twenty degrees for the game.

i am hoping brady and company partied a lot during their two week break......and hoping that my ravens are on a high from last weeks win! i think it is going to be a cold one up in foxborough tomorrow.....it sure has been cold in ravens territory this week.

Brady looked a bit rusty in that first quarter while the Ravens came out smoking. Then Brady remembered he had Gronkowski in the second quarter and those two evened things up a bit. At this moment the Ravens are up by three, but I've got a feeling whoever has the ball last will win. This game has that kind of a feel to it. It's a good game to watch though.

Rooting for the Broncos or Colts next week. Would love to see the Broncos play the Pats next week.
sunshine, did you hear me cheering from Jersey?

That was an entertaining game! The Ravens came so close, but it wasn't to be. Flacco had a lot of time to throw the ball, but those interceptions really hurt them. Somehow the Patriots found a way to win. Never underestimate Brady; he has come back from deficits so many times. Baltimore played a great game, though! So, congrats to New England (it's hard for me to say that), and congrats to Baltimore for giving the Patriots all they could handle.
I don't think the Carolina-Seattle game will be as close.
