@Deree wrote:@Trinity11 That's outrageous and there is absolutely NO excuse for that. I would have left. AND I would have called my doctor immediately. If your doctor said it was okay I would have reported it to the Dept. of Health. That's how we look out for each other here.
I really could not leave. I have shingles and needed immediate care. Report them and I doubt the office would ever see me again @Deree .

@Trinity11 I understand. I'm pretty sure you can report anonymously. Feel better!

Thanks @Deree . My block used this time to add additions to their home. No masks on construction workers either. Graduation parties on the lawn with young children. I guess rules are for other people and not all people are willing to comply.

@Trinity11 Sorry about that. Very sad. There will always be idiots only thinking of themselves.

I got it. When people disagree with you they are:
Inconsiderate: thoughtlessly causing hurt to others.
Dolt: a stupid person.
I don't choose to judge a person by those definitions because they don't agree with me, or because they choose different ways to live their lives than I do.

Here's yet one more reason to wear a mask. Re: breaking story coming out of Pennsylvania today. People "out there" who are not just possibly asymptomatic- but who are knowingly diagnosed with Covid and who are continuing to work and hiding it from everyone else. Feel SO bad for this guy's colleagues who worked with him for days not knowing- some of whom ere immunocompromised (One a kidney donor who is very, very angry). Just a wretched human.

@schorsch wrote:I don't believe people should be made to wear a mask. If you are uncomfortable going without one then by all means wear it. I don't personally feel the need to wear one and resent being forced to wear one to shop at certain places. I exercise my rights and shop somewhere else just as you could exercise your rights to shop and go only places that require one. I don't need the government making silly rules for my day to day life. I am respondsible and compentent enought to manage myself.
@schorsch here here! I agree. i am mandated to wear one at work, it's almost impossible to work with this mask on. I too am a responsible adult woman and I promise not to spit or sneeze on anyone. I stay home when I'm sick and don't make a habit of sharing food/drink. By all means if you want to wear one go ahead but please don't expect me to have one on all the time. There is something very wrong about it.

@AuntG wrote:The OP is taking this too far. While they can suggest masks, enforcing it as a law won't happen. Think of other unhealthy annoyances we put up with. Dog waste left in the curb, babies with dirty diapers sitting shopping carts.....
so totally agree
