Lessman's products, in general

I've never bought anything from him, but i'm tempted. He seem very knowledgeable and seems to have a good product.  I'm looking at the tumeric pills, but i wonder in general, are his products that much better than others?

your thoughts and experinces, please. thanks.

They have worked for me and I have zero issues with them. Highly recommend.

I won't buy his products because they have gelatin in the capsule.  They are also expensive,  but people like the information he provides and are willing to pay more.

Re: Lessman's products, in general

I thought I'd try a less expensive brand. There were lots of issues (aftertaste, heartburn, stomach upset) so I went back to Lessman.

I decided Lessman isn't really more expensive, at least what I take. A lot of OTC supplements come with less in a bottle so by the time you get to 180 or 360 doses, you could have spent the same or less on Lessman.

I buy only when Lessman is on sale and always at HSN.

I only use two of his products, Viamin D and Calcium.  I use them because they are powder filled capsules,  I sometimes don't do too well digesting hard pills.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Re: Lessman's products, in general

I think his products are quality products, but they are expensive. Using his product labels, I go to Amazon and find namebrand products with the same ingredients and the same amount of ingredients. I stick with well-known, name brands like doctors best, healthy origins, and Jarrow formulas along with a few others. I belong to consumer labs, which test lots of products for efficacy and that they have in them what they are supposed to have in them at the stated amounts. The brands I mentioned are usually recommended. Andrew Lessman's are, too, but they are much more expensive than what you can find elsewhere if you are willing to do your homework.

My DH and I take many supplements, and the majority are Lessman products.  I usually buy from HSN, and I watch for the sales and stock up.  I like their purity and the fact they are manufactured in this country.

Lessman’s “Turmeric 400 Curcumin” has helped my back issues tremendously.  I take 2 tablets daily.  My PCP (internal medicine certified) is now finally recommending this ingredient to his patients.  I do think, in so many areas, Lessman has been well ahead of his time.

Because he has one plant in Nevada, and does not want to expand, you can only buy from his website, HSN, or a bit on QVC.

Re: Lessman's products, in general

Years ago I ordered one of his vitamin products, can't remember which one but I think it had something to do with digestion.  Made me feel strange.  Stopped taking it after a week and threw the rest out.

More recently I tried his meal replacement powder in chocolate.  It tasted OK but certainly not a meal replacement, IMO.  Never finished using all the product and threw that out.

Bottom line--I'll go to Walgreens or CVS for any vitamin supplements.

I do use his Cholestacare but that is the only one i buy from him. Many other brands are even better as far as potency, and certainly more affordable. For tumeric, I recommend Qunol, I find very good deals for this on ebay.
