I wonder if that's an HSN thing or something. It is incredibly odd.
I am happy to see Colleen in Henderson. I thought we were getting the standard Bobby Ray and Shannon shows.
It's funny becuase I follow Colleen on FB and I saw she was in Vegas but I never put the 2 together until just now watching last night's show.

@HappyDaze wrote:@bebe777 Thank you for all the great info? I think what made me sick from the HHSN was the higher levels of b vitamins. I tried a higher dose of b vitamins later on and got the same queasiness and then later read that higher doses of b vitamins can cause queasiness in some people. I should have mentioned that even his ubiquonone sometimes makes me queasy. Weird, huh?
speaking of ubiquinone/cq10 does he ever have the trucoq10 in October instead of the ubiquinone? I want that one instead bit don't want the bottle of B vitamins it comes with it in the sept on the site right now.
@HappyDaze, sorry I missed your post but I haven't been online this past week.
What a shame that it seems that the high dose of B vitamins seem to be making your stomach queasy. I've never heard about that before, but our bodies are each different and anything is possible.
His ubiquinone has a similar level of B vitamins, so it does sound as though they are the culprit. I wonder if it might be the niacin. I know that high doses some times will a person's face a flush.
Right now he does have his TruQ10® QH Ubiquinol-100 with Vitamin B12-100 on sale right now. The 240 size is $180 (I think the usual price is $200). -- This product comes in two bottles. From his website, it looks as though the ubiquinol alone comes in one bottle, while the B-12 plus the other B vitamins are in the other bottle.
Unfortunately, he never sells the ubquinol itself as a stand alone. -- He pairs it with the B-12 plus other ingredients because he feels these are necessary cofactors to make sure the ubiquinol has everything it needs to deliver maximum impact.
btw, Andrew as only offered his ubiquinol as a TS once... and that was about three years ago. -- I liked it better than the ubiquinone... but not at the price since Andrew has been offering 720 capsules of 200mg ubiquinone for $200 each October.
So the current $20 price savings is probably the best offer he is going to have on ubiquinol at this time. Unfortunately, it's not a great price. ![]()

@VaBelle35 wrote:There was a great discussion on eye drops last night with Colleen and Andrew. My opthamologist said the same thing, use eye drops without preservatives. They are more money but the preservatives cause problems for some people. That was my issue last year with my eyes. Once I switched to preservative free drops I had no issues.
I wish they'd had that discussion last July ;/
@VaBelle35, I thought about you when they wer having that discussion. You had a tough time last year with that. I'm glad you got that sorted out. ![]()

I'm so happy
@VaBelle35, YAY!!! ![]()
I decided to pass on them for now, so I'll be looking forward to hearing how they work for you.
Andrew mentioned that he's been using two a day (instead of the suggested single capsule). It sounds as though Andrew and Muriel really like them. ![]()

He has the cure for cellulite in his hands for a year and buries the lead.
@VaBelle35, lol, agreed. As bright as he is... he is equally clueless when it comes to marketing.
I love all the technical info he provides and how he focuses on the the internal benefits... but his main target market wants to hear the cellulite and wrinkle info. ![]()

@willdob3, I was really annoyed about that. I called Procaps and complained... twice. ![]()
With regard to blood sugar benefits, Andrew basically said that his cinnamon product was the best way to go and that we should google berberine to see how that helped as well.
I told the reps that a number of folks were not going to purchase it until Andrew actually talked about it.

I'm glad you called. I am sure Andrew will get the message. Procaps has excellent CS.
I tried his cinnamon a couple times & did not notice anything different. The only reason I can think for Andrew to hold back on discussing Berberine in detail is that it is a bit controversial & big pharma is against it, or anything that is not a patented drug. But those reasons are usually ones that seem to motivate Andrew to speak out. lol...
I'm interested in supplements that will aid in health & help me to maintain at a healthy weight and fitness level. As difficult as it can be to lose a boatload of fat, it is going to be much more difficult to maintain. The bodies of previously obese people are physiologically different (genetically, chemically, biologically, whatever) in that they will always try to regain that weight. It is why most people regain weight.

Maybe we should call Procaps and offer our phone numbers, asking that Andrew give us a call back to discuss Berberine. lol...
Berberine also has a few side effects & I wonder if this product addresses them. Most notably to me is that it can cause a decrease in lean body mass. I seem to recall reading supplementation of a specific amino acid would safeguard against that. I should look to see if Andrew added that to his Berberine...
